I think he was actually lined up at 3-tech when he got that sack on Cassel. He's a versatile dude, we need good role players like that.

Weird how Houston just left football.

He went back to school and, according to some sources, had an on-going bout with depression.

    Poor guy.

Rhodes obviously was a GREAT pick. Pouha was solid. If we still had Houston around id be real satisfied. I loved Ceddy Hou. I wonder how hes doing.

Also, another sad part about this draft is you also have to add Doug Jolley to the list right up there in our first round draft picks...SWEET

Oh, and Lofa Tatupu was drafted 2 picks before we took Nugent :(

The guy we could have had in this draft that really hurts when you think about it:

    Round 4
109 Dallas Cowboys Marion Barber III Runningback Minnesota

Oh, and not to mention this guy:

    Round 3
74 New York Giants Justin Tuck Defensive End Notre Dame

We have Rhodes in the 4th. Can't have both, and hindsight does suck.

Yes we did trade it, but like I said before we got a stud in Kerry Rhodes, and I'm fine with that.

When you draft an All Pro its hard to call it a bust draft.

Tatupu would not last a day in the 3-4. He's another solid 4-3 LB, and thats about it.

We could have taken Barber in the 3rd round. I think he's worthy of a 3rd round pick.

I know. It's a really sad story. He was a good power back. You never saw him stopped by just one guy, and never behind the line of scrimmage. Then he just lost the heart for the sport. I really want to see an update on him, HEY BEAT WRITERS, IF YOU'RE READING THIS, GET ON IT.

You know we got the pick for Rhodes out of that trade, right?

We coulda had in the 2nd round and 3rd round Tuck, Jacobs, Barber, Mcneil, Frank Gore, etc

Giants got 2 studs in Jacobs and Tuck from that draft

Giants had all of 4 picks and they still ended up with a kick-ass draft

2 11(43) Corey Webster CB LSU
3 10(74) Justin Tuck DE Notre Dame
    4 9(110) Brandon Jacobs HB S. Illinois
6 12(186) Eric Moore DE Florida St.

Webster and Moore aren't anything special. Webster I remember used to get a lot of heat from giant fans and Moore is like a 3rd string isn't he?

true, but Tuck and Jacobs are so important to that team that is makes the draft a complete success.

I remember reading that Cedric Houston just didn't have the desire to play anymore, the day in day out wear and tear of being an NFL player. I thought he was going to be pretty good. Sad story.
