On the play where Moss was wide open, you are correct, it was blown assignmnet. It was zone coverage and Kerry Rhodes had deep responsibility on Moss but was late getting over to his side of the field.

Clearly he's been turning aside especially from the main subject of attention or course of argument.

On another note, Bowens was missing as well. He whiffed on the sack at the end of regulation but had 1 assist and 1/2 a sack. I saw Spencer in there quite a bit. Get well soon David Harris.

Do you have to wait to hear something before you form your own opinion of how he has been playing?

Digressing is the opposite of progressing.

To Thomas' credit, he started out like gangbusters the first few games. Past few games he has reverted back to his old ways. Does not consistently break off from a single TE block, I can barely remember him ever coming up with "the play" & really isnt running down & chasing the play at full speed when it goes to the opposite side of the field. If you watch closely & compare the play of Pace vs Thomas, there is distinctive differences. IMO, I wouldnt be surprised to see the sequel of last year's Thomas/Bowens rotation.

my heart has just finally settled, I got dragged out of bar by tired and drunk friends and wife with 6minutes to go , raced home, had to see moss score while tucking her in, almost crying and sat through overtime with a pit in my stomach, 3rd and 15 I could not believe we had lost the game. Then Brett bailed us, the kick it took me 5 seconds to believe it went through, if you see the reaction by the players it was delayed tooo and underwhelming as I believe they were shocked we actually had to beat team 3 times and did it.
    wow

Barton is very good against the run but he gets exposed badly in pass coverage. Like Klecko said, we have no LB who can cover tight ends. Every teams tight end just have a field day when they play us it seems.

Revis never got exposed anywhere near like Lowery has this year. Revis showed signs his very first year that he would be a stud. Lowery is getting beat time and time again. Even by the teams #3 receivers. Its pretty pathetic watching him try to cover someone one on one lately. I dont know if its just a quickness issue with him or an issue of where he just has to learn more about NFL routes/patterns, but he seems to always be way off any receiver. The few times he does have good coverage though, he gets screwed on a penalty it seems...

Are you satisfied w/his recent play? Or do you feel like he has been consistent & solid?

I'm just saying that for a guy who has been in the league as long as he has & the speed that I know he is capable of, he just hasnt been making enough plays. Overall, I know the 3-4 D really isnt for guys to compile good stats, but I've been rooting for this guy to be a much better OLB version than say a Mike Vrabel, but he still hasnt shown it.

Because we don't have another linebacker that you would rather have in pass coverage, especially against a spread offense like the Pats have.
