11-5 is the smart bet at this point. 12-4 for the ballsy, 10-6 for the pessimistic. 10-6 was my preseason prediction, but I voted 12-4 here.
I am with all the true Jets fans who see this team going into the playoffs. Let's just ignore all the haters and dark siders who think this team is going to be like all the former "Same Old Jets" teams. I don't believe that stuff for one second. Let's stop describing how we are going to committ suicide (NOTE TO Winston Biggs here!) the next time this team will lose a big game. This team is NOT going to lose another Big Game. This Jets team is dfferent from the same old Jets. This team is built to win! They might lose another game but I can't see how. LET'S GO JETS!
10-6 should be our minimum. We're better than all the teams we play at home, and we should beat them all. We might drop one, and losing to Tennessee on the road is certainly possible, if not probable, though I am confident that we'll give them a damn good game either way. And we're also better than the two west coast teams by a decent margin. They are west coast games, after all. I voted 10-6, but now I'm thinking 11-5. Even 12-4. Wow. EDIT: Nevermind, I did vote 11-5. That's my choice, and I'm sticking to it.
ill go 11-5 with you mack, 12-4 i really dont see it happening. tenn. is a TOUGH tough team and it will be a battle no matter what. denver really has some tools to hurt us but you dont know which one will show up, i have seen them play pretty well and be explosive but have seen them send one in too many times this year. 9ers and seabags are definite trap games. you come in a little too lax after a long flight and uhoh why are we down by 10 in the 3rd qtr. division rivals, tough to beat them all but 1 game. its gonna be a tough road, i can definitely see 11-5 happening but 10-6 is also a definite possibility. below that and i will jump off a roof.
The only real hard game we have left is the Titans, all the other teams we should beat. And I think with the roll we are on we beat the Titans next week. We are hitting on all cylinders right now and we will be hard to beat. With a week to fix our pass defense we'll be fine.

10-6 in the AFC is not going to be a 2nd seed record, therefore the last game will have meaning. I went all in at 12-4. We'll lose somewhere in there, hopefully not to the titans.
Tennessee is a toss up, but this team is flying high now and will have 10 days to prepare. Win Denver...could be the bump in the road. Cutler is a gunslinger and Shanahan a good coach. Loss San Francisco...easy win, Singletary is a joke Buffalo...Bills will be desperate, loss Seattle...win Dolphins...win, though it'll be close 11-5

I wanted to rebut this, but then I looked up the stats and saw Cutler has only been sacked 6 times this season. Yeah, Denver's O might be a problem.
