i was fairly confident. of course i was prepared for a miss. but i think feely is in a really good mental place after the rams game. and kicking seems to be mostly mental.
Wasn't really scared - thought the game was wrapped up at that moment. My taste would have been to take the FG on 3rd down - so if he misses, he gets another shot; but all in all it worked out, and I'm happy with the result.
honestly.....i could barely sit down the whole game i paced like crazy!!! And for the kick.....i was sitting on the back of the couch with my son...thats our good luck tribute to the JETS
My bad. Just checked the rulebook - and it says so there too. *Collinsworth must have been on crack last night then too.*
0 worry at all. We actually got up to go hit the Illy at that point. I stuck around to make sure I saw it though...it'd be fucked up not to really lol.
I've been mostly comfortable with Feeley's recent kicking(he's been pretty good). But as a Jets fan I can never not worry at all so i did have that small amount of fear
I was just a little scared. If he hadn't done such a great job last week though, I would have been petrified!
this poll should allow for the selection of multiple options. I had a feeling he would make it. I was also scared shitless, and clutching the person next to me, with my eyes closed and facing the other direction.
Wow. I'm surprised at all of these pretty calm sounding responses. Feely has been kicking well, but still, I was petrified. The entire second half had me biting my nails and pulling my hair out. By the time it came down to that final kick my nerves were so shot I could barely watch, but damn what an incredible relief once it was over!
I'm a 32 yr old FireFighter and I was holding my baby daughters teddy bear! LOL...Not at all ashamed to admit it either.
Well its still good to kikck those one 3d down so if it is a bad snap or whatever you can just do it again on 4th down. As far as the kick, I was just surprised that the Pats didn't call a TO.
Haha, collinsworth could have easily been smoking crack last night. I don't know how many people caught this but Collinsworth was talking about how, on 4th and 1 with 8 seconds left, the pats should have "2 shots at the end zone before time runs out". (Although admittedly this could happen to anyone, it was just funny to hear)
I was really fucking scared, but I would've been clutching the person next to me if I knew them better.
