The Jets scored 81 points in 5 days! Haha, I would be tired too. That has to be a record. Of course 7 points come on Pace's TD, and 7 come on Leon's kick return, but still. That is awesome!

The Jets are scoring points baby!

Currently leading the league in scoring, but 30 teams have played 1 less game.

Yeah but we have like a 30 point lead minimum over everyone, so chances are we'll end this week as the #1 point total so far.

Offense is winning us games, thank god we've finally gotten one. With our offense, we'll take the #1 seed in the AFC, and then our defense, especially with bye weeks (including the long week to prepare this week) will take the Vince Lombardi home for us. And of course we've got Leon Washington and this Special Teams to contribute. Win by being the best in all phases of the game.

#1 Offense+#1 Defense+#1 Special Teams, or close to that in every facet=Championship.

Holy crap..... 81 points in 5 days. I honestly believe we will beat the Titans and Broncos. Even if we split with Buffalo and Miami we'll still sweep the Seachickens and 49ers. That's 12 wins. I won't predict Super Bowl but a win over the Titans certainly would make them a real possible favorite in the AFC.

Yeah, too bad the Jets didn't have a young stud like Chad in there last night.

Why is anything posted against Farve met with attacks against Chad?

    Farve is old. Fact.

Haha, thread is really about the 81 points scored, not Brett Favre. He did play a huge roll in it though.

With the 81 points scored, I am sure many of you know some points were left on the field. Jets could have easily scored more in both games.

Titans? Yes. Broncos? Not so much. That game is a coin flip. Their offense matches up pretty well with our defense.

i though he was tired because he played his ass off personally. 81 points in 5 days is pretty nice. this is the first time since i have been a committed fan of the team that we have had a truly explosive offense. its really nice to see.

81 points in 5 days... definitely awesome. My only concern is that 64 of those points came in the first half, only 17 in the second. Is it the coaches tightening up and trying to sit on the lead or our opponents adjustments countering our offensive scheme? I suppose in the Rams game that really didn't matter much, but we really could of used some production in the second half yesterday. I know, I know, it sounds stupidly skeptical to find any fault in a stat like 81 points in two games. I really don't mean it as a knock at all, I just think it's an interesting thing to look at. Regardless, I just hope they continue putting up these big numbers! Next victim... Tennessee!!
