I don't think the game against the bills is a 50/50. The Jets are really starting to come together and the Bills are falling apart.

I'm looking forward now to the Titans game with almost the same enthusiasm as last night's game (well.... maybe not quite... that one was sweet as hell).

But yeah, I'm anxious to see how we do against this undefeated team. I want us to come out firing on all 8 cylinders and see what we can do. If we lose, so be it, but if we win, we're 8-3 and looking pretty damned good.

    One game at a time....

What I like about the Titans is, we've got some extra time now to really game-plan.

I'm sorry to admit that I really don't know the Titans very well in terms of how we match up against them. Guess I'll read the Titans thread to get a little more info, but I'm hoping we match up with them pretty well.

Let's put it this way, I can't imagine a more difficult matchup than the one we had last night!

Titans game is going to be a problem because we likely won't be able to run on them. Albert Haynesworth is probably the one NT in the league we'd rather have than Kris Jenkins, and that is saying a lot.

It's going to be a tough smash mouth football game. Should be a good one.

We could win out. We could also lose out.

Let's win in Tennessee this weekend and then worry about the rest later. There is no reason we should lose to thee Broncos, Niners, Bills or Seahawks though. Only the Titans and Fins are legit teams on that list imo. Broncos don't play defense and have no RB either.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong (I'm sure someone will). If both us and the patriots win out then the Miami game would be for the division (we win, we win division, we lose patriots win the division).

Another scenario where it comes down to the miami game. Miami wins out, we win out. We then lose to miami they win the division based on division record, we win we get the division based on a better overall record.

If we lose any of the next 5 and there are several scenarios where the Miami game is the deciding factor. (the bills could even be in the mix if they beat us at home, I think they could win division in a tie based on common opponents becasue of the raiders game loss if we also lost to miami)

That game against the Fins will likely be huge!

Tennesse will be an interesting competitive game.

We should win against SF, they are not that good. The most troubling part of this game and the Seattle game is the trip(s) to the west coast.

Buffalo scared me at the beginning of the season since our record against them at home since '90 is 8-10. In the '90s we were 3-7. Now I recognize that that is SOJ thinking and am coming around to believing that we can win that game.

Seattle will depend upon Hasselbeck and his ability to connect with his receivers.

I always enjoy the rare opportunities to play the fish in the cold. I'm not afraid of this game at all.

I agree with your assessment on the Broncos game. It will be a tough road game for them...if that's what you meant.

Bills don't scare me. Neither do the fish. Titans is the only game we need to show we can run with the best of what the league has to offer. Let's get it done.

Titans - I feel we match-up with them very good. Coming off this New England win with extra days to prepare I feel that our chances to win are very very good.

Denver - This game scares me the most. If we beat the Titans our guys could be too high. If we lose our guys could be too down. We can for sure beat Denver but it could just be one of those ugly games we play. As long as Favre keeps his head we should win though.

    San Fran
    Buffalo
    Seattle
    Miami

We should be favored in all 4 of those games and rightfully so. Would be nice if we could go 5-1 or 6-0 with the rest of the schedule.

If the Jets somehow beat Tennessee, they will be 8-3 with 3 home games left, and 2 road games against teams with a combined record of 4-14. Don't get me wrong though, the Seahawks and 49ers are better than their records.

I'd love to get that Bye and Homefield Advantage. Man, that would be sweet.

    1. Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games between the clubs).
    Tied 1-1

    2. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division.
    Would be tied at 4-2

    3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games.
Mia/Buf nulled cause of div besides it would be the same
AFC West Jets 2-2 Pats 3-1 in scenario
NFC West Jets 4-0 Pats 4-0
    Pats would win here

But for both teams to finish 12-4 at 7-3 and 6-4 is highly unlikely.
