This is the truth. I honestly am 100% positive that if Chad was our QB we would have been punting on the first drive of OT and the Pats walk down the field and score. Brett Favre has a stronger will than the entire team did last year.
Great game by Favre. No mistakes and he threw the ball well. That third and 15 play to Keller was awesome.
We got Brett Favre to make up for our defense that can't cover (Cassel - 400 yds) and our coaching staff that's afraid to blitz when that's our best and only way to get pressure on the QB? He played solid but we have problems.
Actually, Penny's been there done that... so ummm yeah! Division Champ? Check Beat the Patsies in NE? Check
There's nothing wrong with Pennington. Never has been and still nothing. But this is Brett Favre we're talking about here and no one can deny that he isn't an improvement now.
Favre's best throw was easily that one to Coles, running to his right, Favre throws a strike across his body to the left side of field. That was a vintage Favre throw, that other QB's don't try.
people don't realize how difficult of a throw that is. only a handful a QB's in football history make that throw and Favre makes it look easy.
