Avoid the West Side Blondies. I had a terrible experience there when we lost to the Pats in the playoffs 2 years ago. Almost all the bartenders and more than half the customers were Pats fans, in the middle of NYC. It was disgraceful and they acted like a bunch of toolboxes.

Is East Side more of a Jet bar?

it's pretty cool because they have about four different camera angles you can choose from during the game.

My experience is that on Sundays there is no one dominant team except the Browns, whose NY supporters club rents the entire upstairs area. I am not aware of any specific Pats loyalty. In fact, I went for Week 1 this year and there was a distinct buzz and barely muffled glee when Brady went down.

I bet you will see plenty of Jets fans there tonight but I guess I could be wrong. My preference for Blondie's for big games is based less on fan solidarity than on their billion TVs and their ridiculously good wings. Best in the city IMHO.

I agree about the ubiquitous screens and awesome food and wings. Blondies is a top notch establishment for sports viewing. But the Pats fan incident on the West side kinda ruined it for me. I must still be scarred from that loss. Still remember that dumb dropped lateral pass to WR that Pats picked up and ran for TD. All their bartenders were in Pats jerseys giving us crap. Tonight I am hanging out in Hoboken, at a Jets only tavern.
