The way we're playing, it would be a complete letdown if we lose to the Pats, we have to pressure Cassell, and attack the Pats suspect Defense.:jets:
No, you see this thread is different. Because, while that other thread is about how important the Pats game is, this thread is about how crappy it would be if the Jets lost. Surely you see the difference.
Can we not even go there ? I've just started to turn from the dark side and head for the sunshine. Let me try to enjoy it for at least a few days.
It would suck many many times over if the Jets lose to the pats. First place in the division would feel really really good. Go get them pats Jets!:jets:
Nice, that gives me hope for my Losing The Patriots Games Means I Am Going To Beat My Neighbor To Death thread.
sorry to be negative but the jets are going to lose this game, I can just feel it im sorry! 26-21 patriots
Just realized something... A positive from playing this game on thursday is that we have a week and a half to prepare for the titans. I hope they don't lose this week, so we can beat an unbeaten team.
why would you post that? I hope people don't get offended but I'm getting really tired of all the overwhelming negatitvity from Jets fans. I guess it's because I'm still in my early 20s and a lot of my teenage years were filled watching competitve Jets teams (from the beginning of the parcells era onward) but I find the average Jets fan to be unbearably negative, and to be honest, I find it fairly agitating at times. Anyone else feel this way?
I said before the season, before Brett and Brady. Jets will split games with the Patriots. Lost the first, this is the second. Not so sure about the outcome if there is a third!
Yeah I'm definitely in the same boat as you. I'm 22 and I started watching the Jets in 1998. I really don't like how most Jets fans are extremely negative, but at least it's better than being blindingly positive like fans of the Raiders.
Does the author/op actually suggest that it would not be a good thing if the Jets lost this Thursday night? Wow that is the kind of profound thinking that can only take place on the toilet.
We need to win this game. if we lose and we make the playoffs, it won't matter because we won't be able to win during crunch time.
