shows that this team has depth on the offensive side of the ball. I still would have liked to see Coles and Cotchery having more than 1 catch each like they had today, but we still won big. That has to say something. When the run game is on point. T. Jones and Leon are great. We have Keller with a breakout game today. Throw Brad Smith in there also to get some yards. Thursday though, Coles and Cotchery need to be used more.
our defense has been fantastic...this is what carried us through the start of the year with the inconsistent offense...now that the offense is hitting its stride and finding an ID the defense is really standing out.... ladies and gentleman...the Jets have arrived
I would have liked to have seen some more play actions like on the Dustin Keller play, but can't complain about such a beat down.
I actually saw a glimpse of Cotchery and Coles sitting on the bench, watching on tv, and they were not looking very happy.
OH PLEASE I have been saying all year to get this Kid Dustin Keller involved more. Today they did and he was FANTASTIC like I knew he would be. So let our two star wideouts take a breather. WHAT A GAME. YOU HAVE TO BE SO HAPPY IF YOU A TRUE FAN LIKE ME. This game saw it all come together.
Keller is looking amazing with all of those catches. The only problem that I have with him is that he never lands on his feet. He rarely gets any yards after the catch. But then again...He is making some pretty acrobatic catches.

OT: You stole my avatar. This makes me happy to see that we'll be able to survive in the passing game when Coles retires in a couple years. Also that we can play without Cotchery and Favre can still have a good performance.
our running game today also played a part in coles and cotchery not seeing too many balls. We ran the ball effictively a lot!
Who cares, we kicked the crap out of a team we were supposed to kick the crap out of. I don't care who we used to do it; we did it. Again, I fear next week. Managini better not let these guys get too high on themselves. Great win, great game, now get over it and start preparing for the tough guys down the block.

Mangini was not thinking about Thursday at all today. Everybody labeled today's game a s a trap game. Mangini showcased Keller because he was open. No NFL team that is going to be successful thinks about next week's game in the middle of the game they are playing. The Jets ran all over the Rams and the defense was tremendous. Favre threw oly 19 passes. That's what getting 5 turnovers and a 40 point lead at halftime will do. It had nothing to do with Thursday and everything to do with the way the game developed today.
That just shows we can win games in more than 1 style. yesterday was all D and running game, the Ari game was all D and passing game, Buf was a nice combo. Opponents cannot just say they will take away 1 phse and think they will beat us b/c we can do it in many ways.
