Leon saves us from having to make 70-80 yd drives. We have had a ton of drives this season starting around the 50 and even 40 of the opponents field. Amazing player
reggie bush is probably still the most overrated player in the league. even though the man love for him has dwindled quite a bit over the last few years. for the expense of having him he is absolutely positively not worth it. no way no chance no how. heck he is the 2nd best rb that came out of usc that year. the guy just does not impress me. westbrook on the other hand really could be the mvp this year if philly keeps playing as well as they have with him in. the games he missed he was SORELY missed. i would really like to see leon be used more often, i dont take the too small thing for anything more than pure bullshit. i have seen hm run it into the gut of the defense a few times this year and he has that make em just not quite get a good shot on me thing that is essential. i would imagine the cs might give him a chance in the next 2 years to pick up a little more of the every down plays that he could be playing.
Joe is hysterical. Its so fun to mess with him - and he won't be around till the offseason anyway. Joe should always stay. I wanna hear how Russell is still a good QB with a lot of potential.
I was the first one on this site to praise Leon for his efforts. It's good to see everyone on the wagon now
What ever happened to SteelCurtain and DirtyWater? EDIT: Nevermind.. SC is still active. Figure DW will be around next week.
Leon is a very good player. If the Jets did not sign Thomas last season, I think that they would have given Leon a shot at the starting job. I don't believe that Mangini thought that Leon could carry the load and be effective until after giving Jones the big money. Now, Jones has to earn the money, and Leon just makes the most of his opportunities until his money comes. By the way, don't be surprise if Leon gets some of that big money in the off-season.
dont get me wrong i like leon and i love what he can do, but i think jones is really under rated and never gets enough credit. but leon had been huge for us and hopefully he will continue to do so.
Based on what your saying Bush and Leon are on the same page. Leon is also a spectacular player with the ball in his hands. Leon hasn't proved or disproved he is an every down back, but he should be on the field every play, whether in the slot or the backfeld. He's scary. I am not saying that he is better than Bush, but the same can be said about him.
The more oppurtunity the better the stats. Unless u figure only the limited times u touch the ball you produce. If you get 10 rush attempts and run for 1yard on 9 rushes and 91 yards on 1 rush you still average 10 yards a carry. Deceiveing but 10 yard average. the moral of the story. The less the attempts the worse the average, the more the better.
but if on a player who only rushes one time gets a 91 yard rush then he has a 91 yard average. moral of the story, it could go either way hmy: but less attemts usually means the defense it's gonna be worrying about you less making it a lot easier for said player
