Jenkins is a fucking monster. I think I have to agree with Vision here, I have never seen one player single-handedly change a defense like Jenkins has for us. He would've been worth two 1st rounders, never mind the 3rd and 5th we actually gave up for him.

And this is most likely your best post ever....

Both of those trades have been great but Jenkins has held the D together all season and today may have been his finest game in his brief Jets career. He has made Ellis, Thomas and Pace serious weapons and allows us to even bring Revis on a blitz.

IMO Jenkins and Revis would share the game ball today because Revis was an absolute beast all afternoon.

Just look at our line from this year to last year, He was the HUGE piece of the PIE that was missing. AND no one can run on this time. They get a hole here and there but nothing NOTHING compared to last year and its all because of HIM. Jenkins is a beast.

  5. We have 2 elite top 5 defenders right now(Revis and Jenkins), and have 3 top 10(Rhodes,Pace and Harris).

Jenkins maybe the best 3-4 NT in football right now. The only comparable player I can find right now is Williams in SD....and he's not the pass rusher Jenkins is.

I just saw his post game interview, not only is he playing lights out he seems to be growing into the leader of the D too. He is a mean dude on the field but he is a great interview.

defense had what 5 sacks, 3 turnovers, and 30 yards allowed rushing -- you do that you can win -- we can play with any team in this league if we don't make stupid mistakes like a 4th quarter INT for a TD

Jenkins is slowly becoming my favorite D player, when I get a new jersey it's definitely going to be #77. He's also a really exciting player to watch, which is rare for a NT. You never know what he's going to do, he can easily power through 2 linemen or just use a move and go around them. Extremely amazing...

Jenkins would eat Wilfork and then ask for seconds.

Jenkins is an absolute ebeast right now. The only Jets player I remember dominating like this was Klecko, when he was healthy.

Kris Jenkins and Leon Washington are the two best players on the Jets, imo.

I would've traded both number 1's that we gave the Bears AND thrown in Robertson for Jenkins...

No it was a trade. We traded a 3rd and 5th round pick to carolina to get Jenkins.

    A steal
