Please answer how that drive resulting in a FG was Favre's fault.

Numero uno cheerleader in the house

It wasn't just about this drive. Forced fumble in the red zone and the Jets move a few feet and then with a FG.

This offense has been electrifying this year, no doubt.

Well I'd like to tell you that it would be risky because a sack or two could have knocked them out of FG range. As it turns out, over 30 yards is out of Feely's range.

But seriously....I didn't mind the conservative playcalling that much in this instance. Dropping back for a look at the end zone leads to sacks, turnovers and holding penalties. Its been tough enough dealing with buffalo's pass rush today. Everyone did their job on that drive except the kicker. What a fuckin' letdown.

Exactly...TF does the coaching staff have to do with a kicker missing a kick?

And THIS is exactly the reason why I was totally disgusted with us trading up to take a TE in the draft. We never consistantly used the one we had. Baker is a fine TE, with proper play-calling he could be a very good one, so WHY the hell do trade back into the first round to take Keller if you WON'T use him?

a VERY fragile lead at halftime.....

see folks - the jets have suckered all you sunshiners in - especially driving down at the end of the half and....

    BOOM - missed field goal.

not getting ANY offensive TD's in this game will in all likelihood cause them to lose it in the second half.

believe me i wish i am wrong but history is begging to repeat itself with this team - one again.

    enjoy

    Exactly.

And you still didn't answer. At what point was that LAST drive Favre's fault. They ran two screens and a draw. What did you want him to do different there?

We had them against the ropes ready to go into the half with all the momentum and up by 2 scores and feely blew it. I liked the playcalling (run the clock down, kick the FG, go up 9 at the half), but feely couldn't hold up his end of the bargain. Why can't FGs less than 40 yds be chipshots for the jets?

I really hope that doesn't come back to bite us, D needs to keep playing well and forcing turnovers.

Sorry--but thats shotty thinking--and look how it always ends up! You can't fear shadows and hope to win! 49'ers, pats--these teams go for it. Even if BF throws an int--he comes back the next series with 7.

The worst thing you can do is what we are doing--playing scared--

His play calling becomes more and more conservative as we approach the gl--its like literally his balls are shrinking with nervousness.

If we don't stop them on the opening drive of the second half, we're in for an uphill battle.

Schotty needs to be fired and Feely needs to be cut. Both are horrible

The only good stat so far:

Bills Rushing for a total of 16 yards and 1.2 per attempt.

Massive love for a rushing D. Now if only we could stop the passing game of the Bills, not take stupid penalitys and get off the feild on 3rd down.

We could get blown out of here if we can't D up this first drive.

If we can withstand the onslaught at the begining of the third we are in perfect position to win this game. We are winning this game against a tough team on the road without getting any real breaks.

Have you watched the Jets the last 3 weeks? This offense is not capable of scoring 7 whenever they need to. We had an opportunity to go up 2 scores and take all the time off the clock. It was conservative play-calling, but the correct playcalling.
