Great game on ABC. TT up 22-6 at the half. Musberger had a bad half. He thinks two guys named Williams on the Red Raiders D are the same player ("Williams again with the stop" when it was a different player than the first time) and he told us that a Texas player got OB before the half when the ref was clearly circling his arm.
Musberger is definitely not a Heisman candidate now. What a horrible commentator. (...left the USC/Tenn game after the 3rd quarter...had to beat the crowd.)
Ummm, Texas Tech decided not to cover Malcolm Williams and it's 29-26. 91 yard TD pass. The defender was beaten by 5 yards easily. How do you let the guy behind you? I think Florida is the best team in the country.
2 guys are getting beat up on campus monday. The safety who dropped that interception, and the cornerback who couldn't make the tackle.
Texas is the king of chokers. They had the game won. Their defense blew the game. They should drop out of the Top 10, in my book. TT should move to the Top 5, Florida is the new #1.
I think Florida beats them both, hands down. They're great teams, but Florida has been on a completly different level since the upset @ home vs Miss. They demolished a team some people had been calling Top 5 today. Penn St beats ranked teams by the skin of their nose. Unranked teams are a different story. Alabama, I'm not a believer. Not at all. Wilson is not half the QB Tebow is.
I know they're undefeated. Florida is the best team in the country, though. Too bad they won't end up as #1 this week.
one of best games ive seen in a while...The new top five: 1. Alabama 2. Penn State 3. Texas Tech 4. Florida
the crowd could've cost them the game, though. Two 15 yard unsportsmanlike penalties (second ended up being half the distance to the goal) put the kickoff back at the 7 and a half yard line. Crabtree made an incredible play to win it.
i agree with you Florida is the best team in the country, but that is not how the rankings work all the time. Fortunately, for Florida's sake, they are on path for a meeting with Alabama in the SEC title game.
