I just saw the elbow on NFL Network. It was a pretty blatant cheap shot with malicious intent. The guy is a scumbag.
It's amazing how this guy is a flagrant dirty player yet he gets away w/ a slap[ on the wrist- sort of like NE got for cheating. If he's a Jet he probably gets suspended 2 games.
Link??? I call B.S.!!! The NFL network reported the hit was not captured on the broadcast and only on an out of focus game tape provied by the Broncos. They then went on to say that film was so poor that it did not clearly show contact and that was why the League went with a only a fine. Feel free to spin on however.
Why don't you actually try to discuss football and counter other posters points instead of hurling insults?
Here's the video: http://www.nfl.com/videos?videoId=09000d5d80c0f177 Watch around 1:18 of the video. It's pretty obvious. Plus, Cutler wasn't even fully back on his feet when he was hit. Talk about being defenseless.
I'm sure GJF has filled his toilet with more intelligence...then you have posted on this board. That's not an insult...that's a fact, assclown.
Are you kidding? He hit Cutler from the side while he was running down field to make a block. If Fatboy Jenkins did the same thing to Brady, Jet fans would be showing it on a loop with pride for all time.
They were showing it all night on NFL network. It was pretty obvious that he ran down the field, blocked someone in the back, then ran up to cutler and threw an elbow into this head when he was already on the ground. I don't know what else to tell you other than to watch NFL Network for yourself if it's available.
Only a Pats fan would try to defend that shit. Cutler was defensless on the ground and he threw an elbow into his head. I'd like to know how there was enough evidence to fine him for throwing the elbow, but not to suspend him. They're admitting he threw and elbow and fining him for it, yet there's not enough evidence to suspend him?
