What receivers are good prospects and if you could post a youtube video so we can all see who we are talking about.
I don't know of any receivers right this second but we do need a receiver tall than 6'2 for when we get down near the goaline or for possesions. That's were keyshawn Johnson helped us big time
How do you know who the Jets will pick? BIG NAMES: Jeremy Maclin 6'1 205 MIZZOU Darrius Heyward-Bey 6'3 205 MARYLAND Michael Crabtree 6'3 215 TEXAS TECH Percy Harvin 5'11 190 FLORIDA SLEEPERS: Ramses Barden 6'6 230 CAL-POLY Marko Mitchell 6'4 200 NEVADA Mike Thomas 5'8 200 ARIZONA TALL LATE ROUNDERS: Patrick Turner 6'5 220 USC - Better PRO than College Player? - Former #1 recruit Aaron Kelly 6'5 195 CLEMSON Jaison Williams 6'5 240 OREGON Greg Carr 6'6 220 FLORIDA STATE
Greg Carr is very very worth the look. Due to the lack of FSU's offense over the years he's even likely to be there in the 6th or 7th. Amazing frame, nice hands and body control, lacks elite speed. I think he leads the NCAA in YPC for recievers with a minimum of 100 career receptions with a (18.7) avg. Its hard to tell if hes inconsistent or if its just the lack of play from QB. He probably will garner some talk for the Biletnikoff being that he will probably take FSU's all time TD reception title. and hes already tied for seventh in ACC history. contrary to what i said earlier he might be a mid round pick for a team really looking for a big target. i could see it playing out either way. best part is, the best WR on that team is preston parker, and I could see him leaving early being hes a 1st/2nd rd prospect. this will help teams sleep on Carr. im not saying hes the best around but as far as value goes, this is someone if well coached could really really do some damage at the next level. and being he wont go insanely early. just makes the pick sound even better.
Brandon LaFell from LSU may slide to the 2nd. http://collegefootball.rivals.com/cviewplayer.asp?Player=52359
Darrius Heyward-Bey: 6'2, 206 lbs, 4.30 40 yard dash. Marko Mitchell: 6'4, 210 lbs, 4.40 40 yard dash. DHB did run a 4.21 40 at Maryland his freshman year though. I like Mitchell as a late round guy - he isn't a work in progress however, he has been more productive in college than DHB has.
first of all he is a senioir so he will be declaring, second of all I would not touch this guy he has a drop problem it kills me to watch him some times he has so much potential but he cant hold on
Greg Carr schooled likely 1st rd-2nd rd CB Victor "Macho" Harris last night to help FSU beat VT. No td's just two key long grabs that setup two FSU td's in the 3rd qtr. lol quote from Frank Beamer HC of VT -"That Carr kid just went up and made a couple catches over us." -"Tall and fast helps when you are downfield like that." 3 catches, 100 yards. catches of 48, 39, and 23.
