If you guys are playing to win now, I think the price is right. You made some great off-season acquisitions. Play calling this year has been shaky tho....

3 concussions in just under 2 years? this guy is risking permanent brain damage if he goes out there again.

This is a very serious injury. I'm sure many a doctor would shelve him for the season.

God help us if we can't beat the Chiefs without Cotchery and Coles.

It's an indictment of our offense if we don't score at least 3 rushing TD's. And with Herm running his version of a New Jersey High School Offense, that should be enough.

Ken O'Brien was my first favorite Jet (as you can see by my user name and avatar), but did he really have the strongest arm in the history of the team? Even Browning Nagle was billed as a stronger arm if I remember correctly.

I called this shit....this was so predictable based on his behavior this week, he was never in danger of being held out. Even got the word "mild" in there.

    From Rotoworld.
The Newark Star-Ledger reports that Laveranues Coles (concussion) is expected to play in Week 8 against the Chiefs.
The Star-Ledger cites "someone with knowledge of Coles' health" and calls his concussion "mild." Coles hasn't participated in any practice yet this week, however, and it's unclear what he'll do in Friday's workout. He did take part in non-contact drills to start the workout. Stay tuned. By the time Nagle got here O'Brien had been sacked about 1,000 times and was getting up in age, so that might have been the case. But if you look at the early O'Brien years it was amazing. He would just air it out high and far and let guys run under the ball, mostly Walker. There's a game in December 1985 at Buffalo, we were backed up to our own 5 or 10 yard line and he did that for a 90+ yard TD to Walker.

If our team doctor wasn't a fucktard the guy wouldn't sniff the field this week.

The more concussions someone gets the less it takes to happen again. The last hit Al Toon took was nothing compared to the shots he took early in his career but the damage had been done. Same with Wayne Chrebet.

Answer this, the whole season and I mean every single game Coles has been listed as questionable on the injury report, which technically means 50/50 chance to play. He has also been limited in every single practice this year since the season started. Yet on gameday we all know there hasnt even been a slight chance of him sitting it out or taking a back seat to Stuckey, B Smith etc.

How do I know this? Because I have Coles on my fantasy team and it pisses me off how I have to live with this bs treatment week in and week out.

So this is the question, NOW coming off a concussion Coles is listed as PROBABLE....wtf? How does that work, it makes no sense. This has been the biggest week of rumors that he will sit out by far and yet is the same week he is listed as a better chance to play on the injury report. Totally retarded.

    From Rotoworld:
Laveranues Coles (head, thigh) is listed as probable for Week 8. Jerricho Cotchery (shoulder) is questionable.

Coles' listing comes as a surprise after coach Eric Mangini revealed Thursday that Laveranues is coming off a concussion and he didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday. Coles can be plugged into lineups against an inexperienced Chiefs secondary. He will likely square off against rookie RCB Brandon Flowers. Cotchery, as expected, will be a game-day decision.

This has nothing to do with a QB hanging a pass. If anyone remembered the play, he was landed and rolled on by a LB. His head hit the ground and was pushed.

That said, It proves how Tough this mf*ker is.
It's sickening to hear the criticizm he takes because he refused to talk to the media...
Some actually got butt hurt over that? sad.

He gets hit, plays hurt and all of this after seeing he teammate's career end and watch as he STILL suffers adverse affects from concussions.

Please, if there is one guy you wanna question. Look somewhere else cause it ain't #87.

If Coles keeps taking head shots at this rate ? he could be as stupid as Manretard in another eight years.
