yea you're right. but there's still a lot of football to be played. saying the season's over is a little premature. no matter how bad our coaching staff is (who i think would be the sole reason we wouldn't make the playoffs).
you're right...there is a lot of football left. And i'm still optmistic....but we're in a stretch of games where we NEED to win...and fuckups like today will cost us a berth in the playoffs. When we lose to teams like the Steelers, Eagles or Colts...i'm still disappointed, but not devastated....today was utter devastation. The only thing i took away from this game is that our coaching staff are about as effective as a bunch of rodeo clowns....and if Woody Johnson wants to sell PSL's and put a winning product on the field...he needs to re-evaluate his coaching staff.
agreed. if people think our coaching staff is good, or even average, or that we should be a top team despite our coaching then they need a reality check. a good coaching staff is a necessity if you want to win and we definitely don't have one. oh well, it's a good thing we got the chiefs next week.
this has to be the stupidest thing i have ever seen posted on the board. chad wins this game? no, the passing game sucked all day. no protection, obviously none of the recievers were getting open because when favre did have time he couldn't find anyone. the outcome of the game is exactly the same with chad. except that drive to tie the game and send it into overtime never happens because chad throws a floating int into the hands of a db. every time the jets lose this year is it going to be necessary for at least one person to say chad would have won this game? chad is gone get of his balls, it was a tough loss for us all to see but damn some people just go off the deep end.
for all you haters out there quit your bitching the season is still alive. The raiders beat us...wow who gives a fuck the rams just beat the fuckin cowboys, any team can beat any team on any given day. the jets don't suck they just had an off day, every team has an off day! and look, the afc is crap this season, the titans are in first with a 2nd string qb! so lets be realistic here, when we have 8 L's then you can say the seasons over.
The Jets are still very much a mystery, but today's loss goes directly at the feet of number 4. He was atrocious, and looked every bit of the 39 year old body he has. He was missing guys. Trying to force the ball into tight spots. Threw 2 INT's, both bad, but the endzone one was worse. I don't normally like to blame one player, but today its 100% justified. Brett Favre lost the game.
for the last time....... cotchery tripped on that play in the endzone, watch the replay...although the other INT is inexusable.

Well...it's sad a fact. Not jumping on any single bandwagon here, but the proof of the pudding is in the eating. And the taste of this loss is pretty bad. Even little Alyssa Milano saw this comming on the NFL Acess Network. Yep, she was a guest there this weekend and while making her picks, this one was made with the most conviction. Sigh....I don't see any light at the end of this tunnel at all.
