Fouts was the one who said Feely probably needed another 5 yards. The Chargers were 1-2 vs the Jets during Fouts' career. The 49ers were 3-1 vs the Jets during Cross' career. I don't know why either one would have an axe to grind with the Jets. Fouts is a West Coast guy all the way. Cross was born in Brooklyn. Maybe he liked the Giants as a youth. I thought they were fine yesterday, but in years past it did seem that Cross liked to take shots at the Jets.
