Obviously this is a tough loss....The Jets clearly should have won this game no question...But how can so many people bail 6 games deep? I'm especially getting tired of the fire Bob Sutton nonsense....Reading posts like he knows nothing about pressure and he can't run a D....Last time I checked our defense was 3rd ranked against the run and has recorded 18 sacks thus far...Seriously everyone calm down.... Offensive playcalling to this point has not been terrible however today was a calamity of playcalling. It honestly reminded me of Paul Hackett....The Jets were out played today period. Is it the same old jets?? If you honestly think the answer to that question is yes then please re-evaluate what the term same old jets actually means.... Look people we're 3 - 3...Its not as if this team has shit the bed all year...Actually you want to see how teams that get off to slow starts do? Ask the Chargers....They typically get off to slow starts and don't exactly fade into oblivion... This is not the same old jets...but if you want to doubt that idea then go right ahead...But do me a favor...If you are one of those people right now calling out everyone and their mother, bailing on the team and bitching and whining don't tell me you knew it all along, or you never doubted when the jets start showing everyone what they are really capable of this year.... agree, no need to panic after 6 games... but im worried about when we go back west again VS San Fran and Seattle... these 2 games are must win to make up for this loss. still, winning the division looks like a long shot unless we go 2-0 VS BUF.

i realize that...but that doesnt mean they arent overacheivers and aren't going to level off with the rest of the division...since they are overacheivers they have beaten more teams than they typically would.....and as i recall they played both of those teams at home...whereas we played them both on the road.... listen wins and losses are wins and losses...I'm just saying like i have said all along...there is no reason to panic like everyone is...its pathetic...
How is panicking not an option? OAKLAND! The pass protection was awful, Favre had a horrible day, Sutton refuses to blitz, our 3-man rushes do not get pressure... I mean come on...This is a BAD football the Jets were up against.
listen its an option....and everyone can do what they want...i guess its not the panicking thats my issue its people jumping ship...but what i find is that jets fans jump ship and then climb back on the next week like nothing happened....thats really my issue...then jets fans turn around and act like they are the best football fans in the league...its embarassing...
you sound just like i did after the loss to New England..everyone was flying off the handle, and i kept reminding people that the sky has NOT fallen yet...and trust me bro...i'm still trying to stay optimistic. But after watching that spectacle today...my confidence in the Jets is a tad shaken..how can it not be?!!..this should've been a Jets blowout...a fucking BLOWOUT....and we looked like a Division II team trying to play in the NFL.....
LET ME REMIND YOU ... 2002 Jets started 1-4 ,2006 started 2-3... still made the playoffs. although they finished 9-7 and 10-6 ... i dont think 9-7 will get them there in 2008. Im just saying.......

i hear what your saying...but the raiders played with a fire under their ass all day...i think the jets in part did not execute...but at the same time is it possible we caught the raiders at the wrong time?? they had everything to prove and absolutely nothing to lose....forget their record for a second... i would bet you the titans would have lost to the raiders today...no matter what the jets did they just werent going to win that game... would i have said that before the game...of course not...but after the first drive i could have told you the raiders were going to be extremely tough and werent going to roll over...
Tied for a playoff spot?! :rofl::lol: It's week 7, being tied for a playoff spot now doesn't mean crap. The Jets schedule, after KC, gets VERY difficult. And do you know what we've learned so far this season? The jets can't beat good teams and they don't always beat the teams they are supposed to beat either. Will they beat KC? I'm sure they will, but what about after that? If they play like today, they won't get many more wins the rest of the season. Is it over? No, but after the way they played today, it's easy to lose hope. Especially for a team that spent 140 million dollars in the offseason to become a super bowl caliber team. You don't lose to the f-ing raiders, period, especially when they basically gave us the game. I pray the jets get back on track, but after that display today, it makes sense to hit the panic button the season.
