If Al Davis can fire Kiffin midseason and get results, so can Jets. Schotty, it was fun (well. not) while it lasted. Don't let the door hit your ass on your way out.

Many of us called for the head of Hackett...now we want Schott...many of us wanted Herms head. Rightfully so. Mangini gets no more passes. This is his team. If we blamed Herm for playing like scared fags...then we have to blame Mangini...and its time for Mangini to put up or get out with this pussy style of football.

Is it only me, but how do we know that we didn't try to go downfield? It seemed to me that Favre was waiting back in the pocket on a lot of plays (ie. waiting for something to break deep). Under those circumstances I would assume that we were trying to go long. Maybe the WR's weren't getting open.

This game somehow reminded me of the Baltimore game a few years back when Herm forgot he was our head coach and blew the game with clock management. Enter Dick Curl. What a joke

Mangini didn't seem to adjust the offensive gameplan at all at halftime and simply relied on the defense to keep us in the game. I mean just an example: Overtime 2nd posession we have the ball in our own redzone and two consecutive play calls are runs, allowing the Raiders D to tee off on third down, which leads to a punt to midfield.

I mean I am not a coach, but seriously, was he playing for the tie?

Maybe, but don't you think Brett is more likely to take a chance than not? If Clowney makes him throw long more than I'll say it's the WRs.

You would think so, but the results today didn't bear that out. It's hard to tell because you can't see the WR's on the screen, but to me (wihtout watching the game again) it seemed like Favre was holding onto the ball waiting for guys to break free. When they didn't he had to dump it short.

true but it extends way farther than that man......how about the fact the Favre had noone open deeper than 8 yards pretty much all game....
