This was a chance to see what our team was made of. We stunk up the joint today. There is no way this team is gonna win a playoff game. We're simply not good enough. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!
this game was not even suppose to be close. it was suppose to be 30-10 or sumthing like that. but instead we lost. the jets are going nowhere this year, NOWHERE
the jets always lose a game there suppose to win and win a game there suppose to lose, everyone will see.
I'm still waiting for it to begin. The 2008 Jets are still a total mystery to me. They really have no identity on either Offense or Defense. They struggle to compete with even the worst team's in the league. How anyone could have been thinking Super Bowl or even playoffs going into today's game is beyond me.
i'm waiting for the people to say it's only week 7. it's inevitable. i agree 100%. goodbye season, goodbye brett. i'd love for you to stay but we know that's not happening. we draft a QB and we make something of it in the years to come. we still have a team to build around, but this loss was flat out bad. i feel sick
THe season isn't over. We just know that this isn't a special team that is going to make a super bowl. This will be a nice 9-10 win team that will beat up on bad teams and fold under pressure. This FO this alot like most of the posters response to the notion of the Jets being interested in Tony Gonzalez. We are fine, we have depth every where. Wideouts is fine, Tight end is fine, Runningback is fine, not one play maker in the bunch but everything is great................ everything is fine for a 9-7 team to putter out in a playoff run or the first round. YaaaaY!!!
Its happening all over the league. Cowboys lost to the rams. San Diego is losing to everyone they should beat. Indy got housed by GB. And that is only this week. It happens to everyone. Don't panic.
This season isn't over until the 17th week. Until then, get used to the type of football you saw today from the Jets. We'll beat a team now and then, but for the most part, this team still lacks a "soul" if you will. It simply doesn't understand yet HOW to win. Same can be said for our still learning CS and HC.
Honestly, your team isn't that bad. Farve gets a little too much media hype, but you guys played a pretty good RAIDERS team that doesn't have anything to lose. I have to be honest, I'm a BILLS fan, but your team, I feel, poses the greatest threat to the BILLS in the AFC East. Disappointing loss? Yes.... but it is still only one game. BTW, I'm going to the BILLS-NYJ game in NJ on 12/14, kill me, but spare my wife..... lol....
The saddest thing is that with Chad, we win this game. Chad would have understood that he could have run for that 1st down instead of chucking it carelessly down field. Favre is a joke and the joke's on you because you bought his jersey, just like Woody banked on you doing.
You know I was thinking goodbye Brett, when I saw him sitting on the bench with his head hanging low. I was wondering what he was thinking....golf?
At the risk of injecting some optimism into this thread. 3-3 is hardly the end of the world. I know some of you don't believe teams can progress throughout a season, but it has happened before.
