I don't think Jets faced a rushing attack this season that Raiders possess . Chargers haven't been running the ball that well this season. All three of Raiders running backs are finally healthy. Im looking to forward to see those Lb's of the Jets matched up against Raiders rb in coverage. Now with a healthy Mcfadden , I think this is a hugh advantage Raiders should exploit. IF I was the Raiders I would go three wr set. Force the Jets in their nickel defense and spread out that defense. Raiders plan on playing rookie WR Chaz Schilens alot in this game. SO I would go with J Walker 6'3 215 and A Lelie 6'3 195 outside wide. With Chaz schilens 6'4 225 inside. Raiders probably aren't going to have alot of sucess rushing up middle with kris jenkins clogging the lane. Raiders should have more sucess running on the perimeter. By spreading out the defense , that should open up alot of lanes for their running backs to exploit. (raiders lineman are athlethic and can get out on the second Level. Zach Miller would be my TE. And I would go with a single RB(Fargas/ Mcfadden and M Bush rotating in) Jamarcus Russell has to do a better job, as he probably played his worse game as a pro last week. Hopefully not playing on the road, having more of a running game to lean on, he will play alot better this week. Raiders should get some chances to make some very big plays. It comes down to Russell executing. Raiders are able to subtain drives on offense, I think you will see a diffrent defense. I don't expect Jet's running game to be much of a factor. Raiders historically haven't feared to well against favre. I think Raiders match up well with Jets skill players on offense. Raiders historically aren't a big blitzing team, but I think they will probably be more agressive this week. My predictrion Raiders 24. Jets 14.

The Tes have been killing the jets all season, and Raiders have a pretty good one in Zach miller. Raiders should win the field position. There special teams is alot better than the Jets.

The Raider running game looked good while Kiffin was there, that young kid has a lot of potential. Kif was smart enough to run sweeps to the outside to make use of McFadden's speed, now that al-Davis is back calling plays the Raiders are sending McFadden up the middle. This is the Raider offense of the '70s, pound the ball up the middle to draw the safeties down and then throw over the safeties to a speedster running a post route. This offense doesn't work anymore, and running the ball up the middle will mean trying to do the one thing the Jets defense defends best, the inside run. Ever hear of a big, fat guy named Kris Jenkins?
So the Raiders RB's are far better than Ronnie Brown/Ricky Williams or Ladanian Tomlinson/Darren Sproles? Gotcha. Those teams also have QB's that are slightly better than the retarded neanderthal the Raiders have. The Raiders have a good running game, but it's not like it's on a level above the fins or chargers running attack. You forgot to mention how your defense is supposed to stop the Jets. I hear Hall is having an outstanding season and looking like a shut down corner.
He's right about the TEs killing the Jets this year, they really need to fix that. One good thing about Vilma was his pass coverage, it would have been nice to keep him and bring him off the bench in passing situations. Hopefully drafting a decent safety will fix the TE coverage problem, or maybe drafting a better ILB to replace Barton. Give RJ some credit, he's obviously watching the Jet games and has noticed something that Mangini doesn't seem to see.
