Picked up Fargas and Engram. I'm starving for a #2 RB, I'm stacked at WR...Fitzgerald, Housh, Santana Moss, Cotchery, and now Engram. No one will trade with me though =( A Peterson is my #1 RB im starting LeRon McLain this week at #2 have Perry and Fargas on the bench.
Does anybody out there think that Matt Hasselbeck will turn it around eventually, since he just got his receivers back last week? Or should I drop him now and pick up Kyle Orton?
Actually in the last 3 weeks, Orton has posted...22 fantasy points on Tampa Bay, 17 against Philly, and 26 against Detroit. He's got 70 total Fantasy points. Meanwhile, Hasselbeck has 30 total Fantasy points. Granted, Seahawks had a Bye on Week 4, but still.
Which "sleeper" will have a big game this week? Fargas vs N.O. Dunn vs Carolina D.Williams vs Tampa Bay C. Taylor vs Detroit L. Washington vs Cincy R. Williams vs Houston There's others out there but they have even worse matchups.
If Fargas starts, he's the easy choice. If not, I'd probably say DeAngelo, just because he ran for 3 TDs last week. Taylor is probably 3rd, Leon 4, Williams 5, Dunn 6.
I had it ranked about the same except Warrick Dunn 3rd. He's been putting up some consistent points this year, he gets about 15 touches a game, but he's another Fred Taylor (not even sniffing the goal line). I alos think that Carolina D can be run on even though they shut down LJ last week.
I got a luxury problem. I need to pick um a bye week filler for Warner, but I don´t know who to drop, here´s my team: QB Kurt Warner (Ari - QB) WR Brandon Marshall (Den - WR) Andre Johnson (Hou - WR) DeSean Jackson (Phi - WR) RB Matt Forte (Chi - RB) Steven Jackson (StL - RB) TE Tony Gonzalez (KC - TE) K Nick Folk (Dal - K) DEF Chicago BENCH Chris Johnson (Ten - RB) Ryan Grant (GB - RB) Larry Johnson (KC - RB) Eddie Royal (Den - WR) Anquan Boldin (Ari - WR) DEF Philadelphia I can´t drop Chichago, because Philly is on a bye. I´m thinking about dropping Folk and not playing a kicker this week, and then dropping Chichago next week.
I dumped Folk and played without a kicker this week. My opponent this week picked him up and he got him 2 points . I am ahead by 57 points and Marshall and Royal are still to come. Do I now drop Chichago D or Orton for a Kicker? edit: btw, anyone got some hope left for Palmer?
Nah, Palmer and the entire Bengals team is fucked. He might have 1 good game all season, but beyond that, he going nowhere.
Here's my scenario. I need to find some replacements for this week's byes and don't know who to drop. All the other positions are ok with the exception of the following: WR (Must (S)tart 3) T.O. (S) Reggie Wayne (S) Cotch (Questionable) Royal (Bye) Donald Driver (Bye) K (Start 1) Matt Prater (Bye) Notable WR's on the WW: Lance Moore, Michael Jenkins & Chad Johnson But who do I drop? I'm actually thinking about dropping Royal for Chad Johnson. I have a feeling he's gonna turn it around real soon. I'm actually thinking about going without a kicker this game. I don't want to drop the Broncos kicker because that offense can move the ball. Plus, there's a huge drop off (17) in total points scored so far from the other kickers on the WW.
Drop Prater, Kickers are exchangeable this year, I droped Prater in 2 Leagues this week without hesitation. For WR, isn?t there anyone else to drop for Ocho Ocho? He?s worth a pickup regardless of your situation, but I would hate to dump Royal, I would rather dump Driver than Royal. But I think cotch will be fine, so you?re not forced to make a move, if you don?t want to.
Wow, how did you compose that team?! I thought mine - after some trades - was dominant, but this... this is ridiculous! Some sleepers as of now: 1. Josh Morgan - WR, San Fran. He's a rookie that will get more PT and he's holding onto the starting job. Even if you don't play him this week, try sign him (if FA) because if he performs well again this week against a bad Seattle D, then he'll be gone before you know it. 2. Antonio Bryant - WR, TB. Maybe not so much of a sleeper, but I see GM's in the leagues I'm on dropping and picking him up each week. Having a good season and is keeping his job even after Galloway returns. This should benefit him. 3. Benjarvus Green-Ellis - RB, NE. Hard to say, but he looked good last week. He looks like a good runner, several times hitting the hole like he was shot out of a cannon. With NE's RB situation borderline desperate, he may see a lot of action. That's all I got for now. Remember, these are just my opinions; I'm no guru.
I picked up Donnie Avery early last week expecting him to continue his good games. Later in the week I forgot I had picked him up and didn't put him in my roster. He gained 23 points on my bench while I lost by 9.
Picked up Ryan Torain this week since Steve Jackson and McFadden are hurt, and Portis and Benson are on byes. At least he gave me a good quarter or so. Just sucks that he's done now, I really thought I had gotten the steal of the waiverwire season.
