They are probably just taking it easy with him. He'll play, but it is hard to say if it will be for the whole game.
Probably. If he tweaked it 2 weeks ago and he's 360 pounds, not a bad idea. Better than resting him Sunday.
he will play on sunday, he will also not play every snap. leading the crazy's to blame his back on him not being able to be on the field every play. and not the fact that he is 350 pounds and is obviously going to get tired more than other players.
Bugger all that, duffer, there'll be board full of narked blokes if Jenkins pulls up lame on Sunday. That would just be the mutt's nuts.
hes the key to the D, wo him we saw what happend in the chargers game. Shame sione p is a waste of space.
just says limited practice...reading the rest of it was actually great stuff...Coles busting Favres balls...mangini "gushing" about dbrick. Lets face it, Jenkins is going to be on "limited practice" the rest of the year..even if it feels good. Not a position he actually needs to get many reps in. Just as long as he stays in shape.
just a question here. why do you post that it says he did not practice? limited in practice and did not practice are very different.
Next years draft I know others have mentioned this before, how many of you think it would be wise for the Jets with there first pick, take the best available NT coming out next year? While Jenk will be with us a few years the rookie would have a chance to learn under a solid vet and also allow the Jets to rotate that power in the middle. With each player taking half the D snaps and staying fresh I would think our defense would become solid as a rock. As we all see the difference a force at NT makes to this defense I am starting the bandwagon early and will be giving great attenion to the Sr class of NT's coming out this year.
Interesting that champ--incorrectly--pulled that out of the bottom to title the thread and glossed over the Brick part.
I'd rather try in round 2, a big guy with a lot of upside who can sit and learn under Jenkins. Round 1 needs to be used on a glaring hole, like an heir apparent to Favre or Safety.
