Anyone heard anything on him lately? When does he get out of jail? Will he be re-instated into the NFL again?
I was thinking more of a Reggie Bush-type RB. edit: it's a lot closer to the position he formerly played, which was a glorified option QB.
Theres is no way any NFL team would take him...There will be every Animal Rights person protesting outside and inside the stadium......Not a good PR move..
someone will take a chance on him. al davis jerry jones one of those two would go after him just for the publicity.
no but he is black and can run fast so everyone assumes he can play wr. not saying anything against people here, that is pretty much the thought process everywhere.
thats not what he was saying at all. he hates animal rights people, probably the way the handle the situations they involve themselves in. they really do some bad stuff. i dont remember the exact details of this story i heard like 2 years ago but basically what i remember is they were mad at some business for being on land that some type of endangered species lived on. this is fine but they set fire to a piece of equipment or something, the fire spread and ended up killing some of the animals they wanted to protect. thats the type of thing a lot of people dont like about animal rights people.
strictly from a player standpoint...i'd like to see Vick brought in here as a QB. Opposing defensive coordinators had to devise schemes for Vick alone because he could burn you in a variety of ways....and having his skillset behind center (after Favre retires of course) would be a great asset IMO. I still remember watching him torch the Vikings D back in 2002 with 346 yards from scrimmage including 173 yards rushing (on 10 carries). Having said that...i know he's had major problems with the law, and i defenitly DO NOT advocate what he's done in regards to the dog fighting allegations....but if you look at what Vick offers to an "offense" and if he's coachable (ie seasoning his passing game..we know he can run all day)...i would take a flier on him when he's released from the clink. And as far as the Peta protesters go....that's what fire hoses are for.
Michael Vick has no skillset other than running very fast... and after 3 years in prison and no meaningful playing or training time in forever, which makes it highly unlikely to make any team after his release. He was a pretty shitty QB before he left for the pen. The way Matty has been playing in Atlanta is going to make a lot of folks say Vick who?
I thin the terms of Michael Vick's reinstatement to the NFL should include a mandatory year of fights in a Muay Thai fighting league first.
