If Maroney is healthy, I would use him and hope New England will try to feature him to give Cassel some more help, putting a more explosive back in. It's a gamble, though. Johnson is the safest bet. Who does Denver play this week? Pick a receiver: Brandon Lloyd, Matt Jones, Patrick Crayton, Sidney Rice, Justin Gage, David Patten, or Devin Hester
I have Lloyd. I'm just worried that his injury is going to be a big deal because he's rather unproven.
This will be a pickup for Sunday before the game becaus I gotta wait and see what?s up with Palmer, but I?m already thinking about it. I got Palmer, who might not play, and Favre who?s on a bye. So i need a QB. Options on the Wire are Orton (@Det) Kitna (Chi) Delhome (KC) or Ferotte (@NO) And if i pick someone up, I obviously gotta drop someone. Options to drop are Palmer (but I?m not yet willing to give up on him) Lance Moore (depending on Boldin?s status i actually planed to play him against a poor Minny pass D) Chris Perry or Eddie Royal
jeeez...... how many teams in some of these leagues? In ours I'm trying to grab Duece, Najeh or Breaston this week
Deion Branch (knee) reportedly looked "explosive" and nimble" in his return to a full practice for the Seahawks Wednesday. Branch also showed an "extra gear" while running under a Matt Hasselbeck deep ball. He was instantly inserted as the first-team flanker with Bobby Engram in the slot. Billy McMullen was at split end over Koren Robinson. This is a week to watch Branch play the Giants, rather than use him as a WR3 or flex, but he is capable of helping fantasy squads in the last 13 games. Oct. 1 - 7:18 pm et Source: Tacoma News Tribune
Branch still is overrated. He never had a 1000 yard season and never had more than 5 TDs but he always had some great QBs tossing him the rock. The seahawks were just incredibly dumb by giving up a 1st rounder for him.
After Vernon Davis let me down this season, I?m still looking for a TE, thank god, there are some on the wire. I picked up Owen Daniels for this weeks game, should is stick with him, or pick up one of these: Bo Scaife Heath Miller Zack Miller Greg Olsen John Carlson L.J. Smith
Rosenfels, Bulger, or Garrard? I have Rosenfels now, and if he keeps the job, I'd probably give him another week, unless one of the other two stands out. So basically, Bulger or Garrard?
Did you see the Coltsgame? No way Rosenfels keeps the Job another minute as soon as Schaub can play again. Gerrard is the safe option, while Bulger is boom-or-bust. I?d go with Bulger.
agreed... he basically gift wrapped that game to the colts..... Id go Garrard for now unitl Bulger shows something
Did you see the first few Texans games? Schaub was awful in the first two. I think Rosenfels might be a better QB than Schaub. The last few minutes of the Colts game were inexcusable, but Sage can play.
I know, but in week 4 against the Jags, Schaub was very good. 29/40 307 3TD 0INT and Andre Johnson also looked awful in the first 3 games, which doesn´t help, when your other targets are Andre Davis and Kevin Walter. No way Rosenfels is taking over after loosing that game singlehandedly 2 days ago, after the entire team played great for 56 minutes. There´s a reason, why he´s a career backup.
hmmm..... what scrub should I try and pick up this week? (14 team league) Should I drop Donald Lee for Visanthe Shiancoe (sp? whatever his freakin name is)
