I've played baseball from T-Ball through H.S and been a fan of the game way before the Rays. Funny how you think you know me and you have no idea. Maybe your the one who knows nothing about sports in general
He has been here since 2004! That's 3 more years experience then you!! NOM NOM NOM Anyways, Pedroia may as well hold the barrel of the bat while he bats, rocking a nice 0fer this series.
Yeah but cmon man...Players dont wear larger jerseys for that reason... What baseball players wear larger jerseys than others? I cant really think of any... And a jersey cant stick out further than an inch...How is that effectivly eliminates the inner half of the plate? Get real. If the pitch is THAT close...Where it hits the Jersey...The man SHOULD advance to 1st base.
I don't believe you've ever played the game in your life. Because I've played some form of organized baseball for the last 20 years of my life, including two playoff games today, and you haven't once said anything remotely resembling something that would come out of the mouth of someone with any baseball experience whatsoever. You just type things that you make up without anything to back them up, and when shown to be wrong, cry and "ban yourself from the baseball forum" only to return to inflict more stupidity on the poor posters who have the misfortune of reading your posts. Enough is enough.
Have you ever seen Vlads jerseys? His are easy 2 or 3 sizes too big. And if you are going to include getting the jersey grazed a Hit By Pitch, it should be called Dusted By Pitch or something equally stupid. You aren't physically getting hit by the pitch. AWWW CMON ELLSBURY!!! SPIKE IT!! Good play by Aybar, alert.
More stupidity. If a guy hits the ball off the top of the wall should he get a home run because he came THAT close to one? Of course not.
Great jump by Ellsbury on that steal...And is it me or did it look like Aybar applied pressure to force him off the base? Maybe Im wrong
Jeez, the Angels are do or dying this tonight. I wonder when Randy Johnson will come from the 'pen to get Lou to pop out to center?
You most certainly are. All the time. In fact, that's the only statement you've made here that's been even CLOSE to being correct.
Yeah, I just went back and checked the replay again... Aybar had his glove on Ellsbury while Ellsbury was still on 2nd base. Who knows how much pressure Aybar put on the body of Ellsbury (It wouldnt of taken a whole lot) but whos to say that he didnt? Its over and done with...But it was a close call
That game was a pretty good one...I thought we had so many chances to get back into the game, which we did...Just couldnt pull it off when it counted the most. With Sonnanstine on the mound tommorow, I'm a little worried but as a fan, I feel we should take the game on the road and if not...The Trop will be rocking!
