The also rans Miami Houston Cleve Cinncy KC Oak That leaves 10 teams 10- NE There SB chances without TB are zero 09- NY Defense does not measure up nor does the RG 08- DE Again defense does not measure up 07- SD Also needs stronger D 06- BA Strong D but rookie QB 05- IN Getting older 04- PI Needs a better OL 03- BF Sorry from what I seen so far the best of the AFCE 02 -JX To bad they play in the same division as TN 01- TN Stifling D & enough O to get by
Champ, teams abbreviate with 3 letters not 2. I know you know that, so use it. Thats really aggravating to read. I'd switch JAX and BUF.... oh i'm sorry JA and BF (Brett Favre??????????)....... BUFFALO beat JACKSONVILLE.
I don't think that list is even close. Pittsburgh #4? What in God's name have you been watching? Jacksonville #2?????????????? I'm not one to come in and say the Jets have to be higher than they are (although I'd say 6 or 7 for them right now). Let's pick this apart for fun: NE: Tom Brady doesn't take that team up 9 spots in the AFC. NYJ: The Cardinals game distorts the truth. When Jenkins is in there, the D is very good. RG isn't the problem. I'm unimpressed with Jones so far this season, as he seems to have the same vision problem as his brother. Denver: Sure their D doesn't measure up, but that offense is better than Indy's (whose D also doesn't measure up). SD: I'll agree with this one. LT's lost a step. Rivers is playing better than expected, and Chambers 50% TD to reception ratio is more alarming than anything. Baltimore: Flacco has shown a lot of poise under pressure. The D is coming back. This team is on its way back up. Indy: Exactly. And hurt. Pittsburgh: Needing a better OL is much more important than you're making it out to be. This team should be towards the bottom of your top 10. Buffalo: Completely agree. Jacksonville: Offensive line injuries. Coming through in close games. It's going to stop soon. That team really isn't that good. Decent D, but that O will get shut down soon enough. Should be right alongside Pittsburgh in my opinion. Tennessee: Very good D, AND very good O. Chris Johnson gives that offense a pulse. Kerry Collins has played well. #1 in my book just ahead of Buffalo.
1 - TEN 2 - BUF 3 - DEN 4 - IND 5 - BAL 6 - NE 7 - SD 8 - PIT 9 - NYJ 10 - JAX That's the way I see it right now
Seems about right to me except I'm not putting Cleveland on the also-ran list just yet. I'm not convinced enough about Tennessee to anoint them team to beat. What I saw of SD was pretty awesome and at home, I'd put them as the team to beat right now. Their D is sufficient to enable mostly wins given their O.
I may be pointing out the obvious but all it would take to beat the Titans is a complete game on both sides of the ball in the trenches. If Mangold steps up and can at least somewhat contain Haynesworth and the rest of the line does a nice job, we have the weapons to beat them on this battle. As for the D, should Jenkins stays healthy and in the game vs. Mawae, then he will impact the entire D's effort as he has thus far. That should limit Chris Johnson, who is their best player, and also hope to get to the quarterback a few times. I guess we'll find out week 10 or whatever it is if we're up for the task.
Titans are still a question mark in my book. I want to see them play a team with a winning record first.
Here is my AFC Rankings: 1. San Diego Chargers 2. Indianapolis Colts 3. Pittsburgh Steelers 4. Tennessee Titans 5. Jacksonville Jaguars 6. Buffalo Bills 7. New York Jets 8. Baltimore Ravens 9. Denver Broncos 10. New England Patriots 11. Houston Texans 12. Miami Dolphins 13. Oakland Raiders 14. Cleveland Browns 15. Cincinnati Bengals 16. Kansas City Chiefs
Your rankings seem to be clinging onto years passed, besides the Pats. Mine would be: 1. Titans 2. Bills 3. Broncos 4. Steelers 5. Jags 6. Chargers 7. Ravens 8. Colts 9. Pats 10. Jets At least at this juncture of the season. I only feel uncomfortable with the Steelers, but they find ways to win similar to the Jags. What have you done for me lately type rankings? Remember, the Pats beat the Jets.
1. Titans 2. Colts 3. Chargers 4. Bills 5. Broncos 6. Jaguars 7. Steelers 8. Patriots 9. Jets 10. Ravens

ooooooooh my mistake too then...i read it as moore people like him are the reason lol caught on...i don't like you champ haha
In August, I picked the Titans for the Super Bowl. I had the Colts second and Chargers third. Four weeks into the season, I'll still rank 'em that way. Baltimore is right there, too. Denver has to play some defense before I could put them in my top 4. I will try to focus on the Titans-Ravens game tomorrow at 1. Those are the two most physical teams in the league. With the late afternoon games, I'll go back and forth with TB-DEN and BUF-ARI. No way will I watch the Bengals-Cowboys. You have to be a diehard Bengals or Cowboys fan or an asshole to watch that game.
