All of these threads popping up, but I haven't seen any after last game for the big man Kris Jenkins. Responsible for the blocked field goal and some major disruption (including a quadruple team by the Cards o-line!!) I truly believe Jenkins is the best and biggest addition to this defense!!

Yeah 100% agree. i think he doesn't have any threads because everybody knows how good he is. if he plays well, its just expected because we all know he is a beast and how important he is to our D

Good thread. This defense is nothing without him, it really is. The man singlehandedly controls the line of scrimmage.

I think we should just have a weekly 'Thank You Kris Jenkins For Existing' thread. Best pickup all offseason. As much as i love Favre, Jenkins is the one that's gonna pay off in the long run.

I suggest Drew Coleman as the first sacrifice.

I agree Jenkins is just a great nose tackle. When ever I watch the jets he is the 1st player on defense that always sticks out.

It was disturbing how the defense fell apart after he got hurt and left the game vs the Chargers. The Jets really need a quality 2nd string nose tackle to step in and spell Jenkins and who can take over if he gets hurt. We should have like four of them. It's the key position in this defense they want to run, so they should see to it. Our 2nd string NT should be better than 1st stringers at other positions if necessary.

I know they don't grow on trees, it's hard to find a good 3-4 NT out of college. Still, what other postion other than maybe QB is as important?

Just send them up the middle of the Bengals' O-line and he is sure to get them, and then crush them into scattered molecules.

I loved Jenkins' responses during one of the broadcast's player bio segments...what's your favorite meal? "Food" (said with much enthusiasm), and What's your favorite past time? And he says sleep! I like to think of him as our own Kraken.
