Bama' could very well be the #1 Team in the Nation when the BCS comes out... Clemson and beating Georgia @ home is big... Homa' hasn't played anybody big yet to the computers.
They'll be top 5 for sure. Anyway, that guy seems to have calmed down about USC: http://forum.sbrforum.com/players-talk-2/guaranteed-winner-103584-p5.html#post1068821
Look out for the Rebels this year. I think the Florida game was where Nutt's offense has taken on to the players and the rest of the "Murray State Mafia" that came with him are paying off. That defense looked spectacular.
If you think Duke is better than Ole Miss and Florida more power to you. Cutcliffe was a great coach for us and he will do wonders for yall. Hopefully we'll schedule you to show you where he came from. SEC>ACC. Hands down. Always and forever.
D'oh. Transitive property fail. Got smoked in Atlanta this weekend. Chalking up @Vandy, @Clemson and @VT as losses. Need to win 3 of Miami, @Wake, NCSU and UNC to go bowling. Not likely, but doable. I don't dispute SEC's superiority to ACC, nor am I serious (obviously, I thought) about Duke being better than those teams. But, yes, I am excited about our prospects for the future with Coach Cut.
I wish we had him back personally. Trade you Nutt for Cut? Nutt's perfect for the ACC..especially in years like these where the conference isn't as competitive. The early part of this decade had some good fun with ACC/SEC owning the top 5.
Sure it's an upset...but Toledo isn't that bad of a team. I know this game was at Michigan, but I think the Rockets are 41-9 at home or something close to that.
Now they're a 3-4 MAC team...with losses to Fresno State, Arizona, and Ball State. Those are three pretty solid opponents. I agree that Michigan is having a bad year, though.
No they are NOW a 2-4 MAC team with their only other win against Eastern Michigan and they got killed against Florida International, there is no way to spin this other than Toledo is awful even for their standards this year
