Do I drop Schaub for Griese while he's available? If Schaub has a bad week and Griese has another good one, he won't be available next week. Then I will have no good backup for Drew Brees.
Okay...figured it out...dropped Sid Rice and picked up Griese. Schaub gets one more week to prove himself.
Looks like Slaton is coming into the starting role while Smith is on his way out. Pull the trigger. Mendenhall's a good fill-in, but too iffy right now. Once Parker's healthy, back to the bench for him.
Which waiver wire dreck do I pick up next week to start in Favre's bye: J.T.O'Sullivan (currently I have him) Tavaris Jackson Chad Pennington Kyle Orton Matt Cassel Trent Green Brian Griese - on waivers
I am in a keeper league and picked up Brady Quinn. Even though the Browns won, Anderson was pedestrian at best. He is my third string behind Peyton and Trent Edwards.
I guess I just figured with that offense, he could shine. Plus I am thinking long term, as we keep 7 players with multi year contracts that you can extend. This is an auction league with IDP, pretty hardcore with 15 players starting each week.
^a better reason to be sure, but I think those other 2 guys will be putting up better numbers in the short term. Not a bad QB3 of the future in a league that deep though:up:
Who is the best RB pickup this week? Rudi Johnson, Lawrence Maroney or Micheal Pittman I'm thinking Maroney due to schedule. I think Bellichoke will lean on him if he is healthy again. However, the other 2 are nice pickups as well.
