I really enjoyed Brian Billick, Brian Baldinger and Dick Stockton for Sundays game. being a season ticket holder, I'm usually at the home games but gave this weeks game to a client.

When I usually watch the games on WCBS (2), I cant stand listening to Simms and his crew, but I really enjoyed Billick and the Fox crew (5) this past week..

Did anyone else feel this way?

billick was making mistakes left and right.

and the other guys caused me to yawn a few times.

they are better then the overrated duo of nantz and simms

There are some really good announcers that never get the big games. On the CBS side, I really like Kevin Harlon/Rich Gannon, and Gus Johnson/Steve Tasker are my favs.

I totally agree. I didnt know who it was and I was thinking "hes pretty good." Billick was excellent. Its about time someone tried to explain the game in a technical way -- other than saying he made a bad play by fumbling or you have to protect the QB. Billick made sense during the broadcast and was not trying to become to "Joe Commentator" -- they will force him to in the future though.

What a nice reprieve after being subjected to Tony Kornheiser last week.

Gus Johnson and ANYONE is awesome. He could be paired up with a sock puppet and I'd be happy.....

Brian Baldinger is in my opinion one of the best analysts today. I love listening to him do a game. If you get NFL Network watch the shows NFC Playbook and AFC Playbook. He does a fantastic job breaking down game film and explaining what teams will try to do.

And I have always been a huge fan of Dick Stockton.

Billick made a few mistakes yesterday, but he was catching them and calling himself out on them. Unlike the MNF crew who did not realize David Barrett just started playing safety this year.

    Fu**in' A!

Also, I happen to like Simms but then again, I am biased because I loved the way he would stand in the pocket. Good luck to Chris.

I agree thart Baldy is TOP SHELF and that Billick, despite being an insolent prick, did in fact give me good info - other than missing the field goal miss. Stockton is good, as is Gus Johnson, Kornheiser sucks, Jaws needs less caffeine and Simms and Nantz need to either fuck or fight. My personal favorite though, other than the incomparable Al Michaels, is Mike Tirico. The man is just smooooooth.

What?! I love Dick Endberg. His voice just brings back great memories from my youth and I still think he does a great job. Oh my!

I can't stand Billick. I listened to him way too much on local TV. I'd prefer he go coach HS football in nebraska.

Billick was an idiot...on the FG attempt that Feeley missed and was ran into (which was flagged) he was wondering why the JETS didn't decline the penalty since we made the FG. I think his head was up his @$$ the whole time. I can't stand watching games on Fox.

He is not very good anymore. He makes too many mistakes.

Don Criqui is still good. He did the play-by-play for Tennessee-Cincinnati in Week 2 and Oakland-Buffalo in Week 3.

The Matt Vasgersian-JC Pearson team usually gets a garbage game (DET-ATL Week 1, GB-DET Week 2, STL-SEA Week 3), but they got a good one yesterday (MIN-TEN). I like Vasgersian, but not so much Pearson.
