Looks like someone parked the car over some hot coals at the Jets-Cards game yesterday.

Welcome to East Rutherford, New Jersey where you can go to a football game and see a car blow up all for one price.

Someone get the brats. The fire is just starting to get hot.

Holy crap, were the cars next to it damaged? If not, very lucky in a crowded lot.

Feel sorry for the person walking out to see his or her car destroyed.

That almost happened in the Stadium when they shot the fireworks off during intros. One of the bases where they shot they off from fell on it's side and fireworks shot into the stands and nailed a seat, luckily the person occupying that seat was late arriving or he/she would have been in trouble.

Never realized the games were so hazardous, I always thought to just try to aviod the fights in the stands, now you have to watch for flying rockets.

Oh my god, that's right. I forgot I almost died at the game. That was in my section, probably landing 4-6 rows behind me and 3-5 seats to the left of me. It like whizzed by my head, if I were just a few seats over, it probably would have hit me because I was standing up. The firework machine fell down on its side making the fireworks aim right at us. They turned it off after one wayward shot, thank goodness.

    I love the commentary:

statement: "Probably the most exciting thing we'll see all day."

response: "I can't wait to watch Thomas run three times and then a punt."

Charcoal is just a pain in the ass at games. I know it so much better. I got the weber baby Q so much easier to deal with

Actually, that happens more often than you think. Especially when tailgaters use lighter fluid to start the coals. Any spilled lighter fluid remains in the cement.

Once, after tailgating, we were looking for a place to stash the Hibachi for the after game festivities and I put hot grill in the back of my pickup and melted the liner....

According to the people next to me this exact thing happened Sunday. They said one of the fireworks on field turned sideways and shot at a group of kids standing on the sidelines. They said it got one kid pretty good.

There goes a few Coaches Club PSL's for a deductible.

Can anyone who was there for the pregame confirm?

This did happen during the pregame. The Jets ran on the field and they had groups of young kids on the sidelines and a firework shot sideways right into the group. You couldn't even see the kids from the smoke. One of the kids seemed really shaken up and they brought him over to meet some of the Jets afterward.
