Even before the 2 TDs it was quiet. They've straight disappeared, not that you could tell they were there before anyway/
Jets fans are horrible. I guarantee most people left already. Whenever I have the opportunity to go to a game, I scream my head off no matter the score. Then the rich douche behind me tells me to STFU and sit down,
Jesus, I'd really hate playing in this shit. You can hear INDIVIDUAL WHISTLES. Cliche and all, but the silence is deafening. And please don't try to tell me the crowd is in it anyone who went...was in it for later...whatever...watch...wow just about any other home teams game and theres a significant difference.
I was going to start a post like this so it looks like I am not the only one who noticed this. Like you said they werent' there to begin with. WTF. I am in SD and I am making at least 2 games this year. What is the reason, where the f are we?
When you live on the east end of long island and have to sit in traffic for 4-5 hours, then youll understand. especially when the Jets lose.
Then give up the tickets. what is the point of season tickets if you arent going to watch the game? Just get the biggest tv possible and throw a bash at your house
Jet fans expect too much. Nowadays it's a late arriving crowd because of traffic and construction, but we had 80,000 in the stadium and at times it was very loud. Still, with the score it was a very weird, uneven game. And the cards are not much of an opponent. In New England a sellout is what...68,000?
I'm going to the STL game this year but hell yes I'm staying till the stewards are kicking me out!!
EH?????????????????????? So go do something else, like not go at all. OR maybe watch the game right until the end.......part time fans get what they deserve , 4-5 hour waits.
i dont blame the crowd for the team being flat, but its so pathetic to not be able to hear them even when the team is playing great. im watching the buffalo st. louis game right now and the rams crowd is going crazy for a pathetic 0-3 team having a good half. it just seems like no matter what jets fans can give an excuse not to be loud.
I'm there. I stay till 0:00 every single game. Quit your bitching and buy tickets off the half-ass fans.
I have admit - it was pretty quite. Here you have Favre putting up one of the greatest performances in his entire career - a Jets team bouncing back with a big blowout of a winning record team after a disapointing loss to SD - and you could almost here a pin drop. While I am glad the seats were filled, why is everyone leaving early? The game isn't over. I know in wisconsin we keep it packed no matter what, cheering no matter what, all game long. It was a pathetic showing... and I was almost glad the game was not shown on the local CBS channel in Wisconsin... because us as Packer fans would of just been shocked at how the crowd was when Favre was giving a tip top showing.
You guys had better get used to this cause with the advent of PSL's, the only "fans" in the stands will be of the corporate variety. Joe 6pack won't be coming to many home games anymore if he has to choose between a season's ticket and paying his mortgage.
