That is just awful. People never truly recover from things like that. It only gets further away in time, and that's about as good as it gets. We have friends who lost a baby very tragically some years back. I think it's one of the worst things I've ever seen anyone live through.

I have a 10 month old and I remember the day he was born like it was yesterday. I couldn't imagine what this guy is going through. Football is the last thing in the world that matters to him. It's just sad when children die especially when they haven't even had a chance to live. I just don't understand.

Did't Joe Jurevicios' son die at an early age?

I just heard his comments on the radio after the game and as a father feeling for a father I had a tear in my eye. I don't know what I would do if I ever lost my son especially if his life was so short. I'll always be rooting for Matt.

On Tuesday [Sept. 2003], during his regular weekly radio show, Joe Jurevicius related comments made to him during pregame warmups for Monday's game between the Bucs and Eagles. Philadelphia fans were yelling at Joe, "Where is your son" and "How's your son?"
