    Spoken like a true Yankee fan..... do you even understand how the game works? Players choke..... do you know what the Mets bullpen is complied of?

    Now back to the topic. How on earth could Wilpon ever give this dueche an extension? They have failed to make the playoffs in all but one of his years as the GM and this year still is no guaruntee. He has traded away numerous young players and has failed to address the issues plauging the team. More troubling he has signed guys like Alou, Castillo , El Duque who we all knew had no chnaces of succeding and traded for guys like Schnieder and Burgos who are awful.

    I can only hope that this is a bogus report. There is absolutely no reason that this guy should come within sniffing distance of a contract extension, and giving one to him now is spitting in the face of the fans.

    I dont think I really have to say any thing because it has been said congrats on signing a guy who will be gone potentially in a month.

    lol...yeah that's what I was thinking......get it togerher for the big championship run in 2012.....when the bullpen fiasco is finally straightened out. Perhaps K-Rod will be blowing saves for us by then

    Until Omar is fired, I'm just a fan of National League baseball. I will not consider myself a fan of this team until he is gone. No longer will I dedicate hours of watching, listening, or attending games until he is fired.
