Did you guys really think we are better then the chargers at this point in the season? They are the better team right now. We have some time to go before this team gets it together. If we can get to 2-2 are schedule gets soft after the bye. Sun 9/28 Arizona 1:00 pm Going to be a tuff game the cards look good this season bye We have been so goo with mangini after the bye Sun 10/12 Cincinnati 1:00 pm Sun 10/19 at Oakland 4:15 pm Sun 10/26 Kansas City 1:00 pm Sun 11/2 at Buffalo 1:00 pm Sun 11/9 St. Louis 1:00 pm This the soft part of the season and we need to go 4-1 or 5-0 which is unrealistic. Prob a bad idea to think to much past this but there so many winable games later in the season. This thurs vs ne will prob be another big game for us. if we are 2-2 at the bye, we will be fine and make a playoff run. if we are 1-3, it will be a long season imo
I agree with the theory although it is hard to call any game an easy game when you look as poorly as the Jets did last night. We need to see a solid effort on both sides of the ball against Arizona with smart aggressive playcalling(not the fucking stupid ass onside kick kind of aggressiveness) and come out with a W. Then maybe we could look at the schedule and feel good about our chances.
I am so with you, dude! Really, let's relax! It's a 16-game season. O the other hand, if the Jets can't start winning VERY soon?
the jets possibly might have the easiest schedule in NFL history. When u play the rams, raiders, chiefs, bengals, 49ers, seahawks, cards. all of these teams have been bad over recent years and some r bad this year, just give it time and it will all pan out.
As soft as the schedule may be on paper, we need to play much better on both sides of the field, not take anything for granted and stay focused. Sunday's game is very important, imo, as to which direction we will be heading this year. No need to panic, but, man, I can't relax.
I think Arizona is going to be a tough game as I think they may be a playoff team this year. I wish they were playing Leinart, and I assume they eventually will when Warner inevitably gets hurt. But if the Jets lose that game, they're 1-3. If they can then win 3 of 5 of their next games (lose to Buffalo plus one of the weak teams), they're 4-5 and in the mix. If they can win 4 of those 5, they're 5-4 and definitely right in it. So I'm not in panic mode from their record just yet. What does worry me is Favre going all cowboy all the time. I guess we knew this is what we were getting, but jeez, man, take a freaking sack or throw the ball away every now and then! It is nice that we can actually move the ball quickly when needed. This is something we haven't had for a while, and it's nice at least having the possibility of some quick strikes when behind. We shall see.
The thing is that the Bills have pretty much the same schedule with exception of the Jags who the Bills already beat and the Browns, who are playing terribly this year. The Jets play the Titans who are currently undefeated and the Bengals who are also winless. Right now that's the main difference between the Bills and the Jets. As easy as the Jets schedule looks, the Bills might be even easier at this point.
