Seriously, all this fire mangini crap and favre was a mistake crap has to stop. They lost because of 28 pts off 3 turnovers and an onside kick. Once they gel together and cut down on rediculous mistakes, they'll are right in the game. The defense was shot in the 2nd half because they were on the field for the entire game, and without kris jenkins. They cannot make mistakes and expect to win football games. The special teams greatly improved and the coaching did slightly improve (although that 2 pt conversion call was retarded, but it was pretty late at that point anyway so I'll let it slide). Looking ahead, cut down on the turnovers and and we'll be okay. Now back to reality, the season is NOT over. Tom Brady is still injured, the pats are still done. The Bills are the team leading this division, a team that just slipped by the raiders. Do you really expect them to be undefeated much longer? The jets play arizona, cincinnati, oakland, and KC over the next 4 games (3 of which are at home) before traveling to Buffalo. The jets will be 5-2 going into Buffalo which will decide who has soul posession of first place in the AFCE, write it down. Don't panic, there is a lot of potential with this team. This is not a bad football team, they just have to cut down on mistakes.
You're right, but losing 48-29 is embarassing on national television. We'll get better, and San Diego played fantastically. They converted on 3rd down, we didn't.
I had this chucked up as a loss coming into the season... I just HOPE that the Jets can squeak a win next week and go into the BYE week at .500 and fucking get their shit together. The schedule lightens up after the BYE week as we all know...No more excuses after that bye week.

1 pick was Favre's fault, the first one was Coles. I would think westhoff made the onside kick call. And I didn't blame the D at all, they were on the field the whole game with short fields, they did all they could.

Actually, Coles wasn't to blame there. Believe me. I rewound the play and watched it. He was his from behind by the defender early (PI) and the defender tipped the ball before Coles could get to it. Rewatch it. I'm sure it'll be on ESPN all night. There was no way he could have caught that. IMO. People are just looking for shit to blame on Coles as he is just another whippin boy. Like Abe, Chad, Jordan, Moss etc....
Its not as bad as it looked. Yeah it was ugly but the Jets didn't quit.. I was they would have take more shots at the Endzone during the 4th QTR instead of throwing uderneath.. Besides SD is a good team and got beat on two lucky plays... Besides.. the first INT was pass intereference... He jumped over LC's back.. Watch the replays.. It seems like the defender is getting there before the ball alot.. I watched the first two games and the NE game it happened alot.. No flags were thrown.. The Ref's don't respect the Jets or the WR's...

Anyone who things mangini has not blown two games needs to open their eyes. After getting a great kick return and getting back in the game, an onside kick was not the way to go, then they scored. That truly deflated the team and the chargers just ran over us from there. Last week, the great 3 runs. Like it or not guys, Mangini has to go, he makes stupid decisions and he is terrible in big games. Only one of our great offseason splurge has gone in our favor and that is Kris Jenkins.
