Don't waste another down on this PSL-selling stunt and don't waste time with Clemens when Brett Ratliff has already shown more in one preseason than Kellen has in his time with the Jets.

The Favre acquisition was a mistake--as I said when it happened--let's not compound it by delaying the search for our future.

You can't bench Brett Favre, so you should release him to the retirement he's been seeking the past 5 years.

The offense under Favre shows no rhythm, no time of possession. It's all schoolyard and Favre throwing off his back foot.

Mangini needs to be fired as soon as Bill Cowher agrees to take over the team.

The New York Jets are not a professional team right now.

Legends are made in the preseason, we all know that.

    I agree with the OP.

Might be drunk, and it might have been crowed at the bar. But i didnt see old man Brett step up into the pocket once. Ok, maybe once. He is in not doing it. Give him time to "gell". He wont be back next season, you all know that, right?

    No, you must be joking.

What have you seen that tells you the Jets have an offense? The Jets defense was on the field all night because the offense has no rhythm.

What have you seen that tells you the Jets are going to make the playoffs this year? Pass rush? Offensive line blocking? Favre? Coaching?

What have you seen that tells you the Jets are building the foundation of a champion?

Do me a favor, please post me back in November when this team is 3-7 and still has no idea if Clemens or Ratliff are any good?

Geeeeez..... it's Ratliff time if, and only if, we're 1-7 or something like that. This is only WEEK THREE and our schedule looks much easier down the road.

You have to give it some time. The chargers were 0-2 at home thats a tough spot to win for any team. The jets still have an easy schedule with likes of the raiders, chiefs, bengals, rams etc.. still to play so the season will improve. And give Favre till after the week 5 bye to really start playing like Favre. Dont forget he came to the jets late into training camp. Things will gell, it aint panic time yet

As long as I don't see that embarrassment of Clemens on the field I'm happy.

He's a pussy in the pocket.

Yes, this legend was made in the preseason. The legend of Brett Favre riding in on his old grey mare and leading this team to the Super Bowl.

I mourned the release of Pennington for Favre because I doubted Favre's sincerity in embracing this system.

As I said after the trade happened...I've seen this before with Boomer Esiason. Dragging in a former NFL MVP, ten years removed from his prime.

I forecast a very exciting 8-8. But I was wrong on both counts. We'll be lucky to win 8 and it won't be very exciting. Wake up.

Brett Favre would be a Patriot in roughly 4 seconds.

I don't think I could live that down.

    DUDE.

You don't BENCH a guy who hasn't been horrible, nor great, after 3 weeks when he's had 1 month to learn the offense!

You want to put in a guy who you never heard of until the pre-season and you have absolutely no justification of this inane comment...

    NONE.

I think the masses want to bench a legend and condemn this franchise further to see the preseason wonder........ football fans..........wow.

If the madden curse hits Favre, then put in ratliff.. Clemens made me hate this loss.

No surprise to me. I called in August. Not blaming Favre, the Jets never should've chosen this path..its one in a million shot with no future.
