You guys are making it real hard to be a Jets fan... i'm taking a long break from this fucking website.
IF THEY WOULD PLAY SOUND BASIC, SMASH MOUTH FOOTBALL WITH SOME SENSE OF URGENCY THEN I COULD SEE YOUR POINT, OTHERWISE, ITS NOT 1 MOTHERFUCKER MAKES THIS A TEAM, SIGNED, UTTERLY FUCKIN DISGUSTED.....
word. they're like little children. the second things dont go their way they start whining and acting like the whole world is collapsing on them. of course, that's just about every sports forum on the net.
Dont count me among the excited. Us naysayers were told to watch what happens. Well I am watching, and I don't see it.
this hasnt been a good game, no sync in the offense... coaching staff has ALOT of work to do, if we want to even be a .500 team this year.
I hate these positive Jet fans who act like us negative fans are overacting. The Jets are nothing short of an embarrassment. The Jets have not won a superbowl in 40 years. Every quarterback since Namath has either sucked or been forgettable. Most the coaches have been too conservative- see herm edwards or bruce coslett or just inept see kotite. There is no reason as a Jet fan to be positive. This franchise is pathetic.
EXACTLY. I am trying to look for something. and other than the dink and dunks...not much happening. He just looks out of touch. and the season will get away quickly.
Although I absolutely hated the Favre acquisition, it is a little premature to draw a final conclusion on it. However, anyone who thought we were going to make a major playoff run with him was fooling themselves. He is a one year marketing tool. At best we will sneak into the playoffs as a wildcard and then have to start over with Clemens or Ratliff next season. He's here so I'll root for him, but I am very doubtful we will see the miracle fans expect. DbJ
We have the players we just don't have a good head coach. He is impersonating a head coach. I think most of the jet fans believe this team can do the job It is just that our staff does not prepare them. It seems like they are seeing the team for the first tim tonite and what was with the onsides kick??????
Theres some positives at the end of the road At least we are probably giving up our 3rd round pick out of this Favre deal.... As compared to our 1st or 2nd. Yeah maybe this isnt a great post but we will get a 4th from WSH(Kendall deal) and a 2nd/3rd from NO(Vilma deal) and if DEN keeps up the contending, then maybe we can get their 5th from Robertson. Yeah I cant wait for the draft (Once again)
Your post was worded better than mine, I should have said it better. I hated it then, I hate it now. Next year will be a challenge to find a QB.
We have two young QB's with potential to be NFL starters. They aren't ready yet. This move cost us nothing. It opened up the opportunity for the young QB's for next year. This season is also far from over. Next week is now a must win game but we win and we are right in the hunt.
Hes played 3 games, two of which vs elite defenses on a new team. Shocker he isn't carrying the team on his back.
Winston, the problem I have is that you will not find out if you have a QB in the wings until next year...... Another year lost if he is not on the roster. If the Favre move does not at least get us to the playoffs then I am sorry, it is a failure.
And then you know, this year, but now it will have to wait until next year. This debate can go on forever, much like it did all offseason.
The Favre move makes the Jets move on there is urgency to develop a QB and urgency to win now. Both are good things.
