I know we figured 2-2 going into the bye, but I think Mangini is in way over his head. He has been horrible so far this year.

Um... I am now wondering where all the message board posters who dumped on me when I insisted, over the summer, that Mangini was a terrible coach, have gone?
    Have they joined my side?
    Or just disappeared?
I was ready for the Jets to lose.
But they haven't played very well in any phase of the game.
Will Mangini take a lap or two around the field for coaching a bad game?
Or is that just for the players?

The Rodriguez and Wright reference is good, but when QBs pad their stats, I make references to Elvis Grbac.

Considering Indy has been undefated every Sept' the last 3-4-5 years it's a shock. previous years playoff teams really don't tell us much, only Indy and NE have been consistent playoff teams in the AFC while the rest turn over just about every year.

it's not a shock they are good but it's a shock to see someone other than Indy in 1st 3 weeks into a season.

Whatever, the more practice he has with our playbook during a real game, the better.

    I agree 1000%.
This is not a bad loss for the Jets.
(Unless there have been some serious injuries, of course.)

I expect favre and the O will be eventually be very good, the question is will it be too late in our season? if we win on Sunday the sched softens a bit and we should be able to get on a decent run this next month. if not we'll have another dreary December.

That's pretty much all we got left.

This is the only Excuse that is acceptable right now.
Treat the game like a scrimmage and let Favre get reps...
