We're just not any good...offense is outta sync, and our defense shows their true colors against a good offense. All this plus a shaky coaching staff puts us instore for another long season. Nothing like getting embarasses on national TV. I called this one... Check the thread.
Just goes to show you... You can't buy championships in football.... No the season's not dead yet. But this is not anything more than a mediocre to average team
I never understand what drives people to make these kinds of threads. I guess they're feeling depressed and they want to drag others down with them to their melancholy state. Yes the world has come to an end. I'm so sad. Get over it, it's week 3 damn.
It's not just about complaining that our team is losing .... it is being embarassed by not being properly prepared for your competition. The Jets should at least come into a big game with at least a little understanding of what you are going to see.
You can bash me all you want for this thread, but why should I be optimistic? What has this team shown you to justify that mentality? They spent money? They squeaked by an improved fins team? I'm listening if you got something to say...
Seriously, the Jets aren't as good as a team as the Chargers. Is that so hard to take right now? The Chargers were a few plays from beating the Patriots and going to the AFC Championship. That doesn't mean that the season is over. It means expectations were way too high. A victory next week against the Cardinals and the team is 2-2 going into the bye week. The offense needs time to get in synch. I am worried about the lack of pass rush though. That is what really killed the defense tonight. They just said on TV that the Chargers are 9-12 on 3rd down. That is completely unbelievable! The INTs didn't help things either, but you can see that unfortunately Favre and the WRs are still not on the same page. This team has time to turn things around and make something of the season. Losing to a good team is nothing to be ashamed of.
As far as I know the Jets were supposed to start out 1-2. This team needs more time to click, will happen as the season goes on. They lost to what is one of the top 3 teams in football, sky is falling.
I'm so sick of the excuses...why can't..for once...this god damn team go out on a monday night and give their fans a performance to be proud of? Even w/ Brett favre we get embarassed.
I started this thread way back when...and it still holds true...we're just not any good. Struggling against lesser opponents does not make for a playoff caliber team...this team shows nothing week in and week out
