The Raiders killed the Chiefs in their home opener and almost won at Buffalo today, I wouldn't say it's them. There's a few 0-3s out there.

Easily either the Rams or the Chiefs. I went with the Herm led Chiefs!

the two worst teams are in the same state, too. Missouri.

  5. The chiefs lack playmakers...but the rams lack quality lines on both sides of the ball. Even w/ jackson, Bulger and Holt..the rams still have a shot at 0-16 IMO,.

Give Detroit some lack of credit as well. They got pounded by Atlanta, Green Bay, and San Fran.

That's pretty hard to do. I never paid much attention to the Lions, but a guy on my hoop team is a Lions fan and was telling me about their playoff history, one win since something like 1961. We're a dynasty compared to them.

Well, they won the league title in '57. That was their 3rd title in the '50s. They beat Cleveland in all three of 'em.

Since then their only playoff victory came in '91 when they beat Dallas 38-6.

They took a really tough 1-point loss in '83 at San Francisco.

I vaguely remember that. This dude on my team is 26, so all he remembers is the 1991 game and barely. He's from out there.

Gotta be KC. They're just really bad. The Rams still have some talent.

Detroit, KC and the Rams are all equally bad. I don't know how you can differentiate which is worse between them at this point when none of them have done a single thing well yet this season. the Raiders are out of the running because they beat the Chiefs soundly, so we know they are at least better than them.

My ratings are based upon ranking of offensive yards per game, offensive yards per play, defensive yards allowed per game, defensive yards allowed per play.

Worst 5 before the MNF game:
    32) Rams
    31) Chiefs
    30) Browns
    29) Lions
    28) Bu^Hengles

    Honorable mention
    27) Patsies (with the 26th ranked offense and 20th ranked defense).

  15. Detroit maybe the worst team...however..they wont end up w/ the worst record. The Lions have a history of always screwing themselves out of the first overall pick.

Has to be the Chiefs. The Rams are terrible too but the Chiefs are at the point where, in fantasy, you will pick any defense against them without hesitation.

I'd rather have a bad offense than a bad defense, at least with a defense I have a chance to stay in a game and win. With no D, well, winning really isn't an option.

Sure, but the Chiefs defense is terrible too. At least the Rams possess the threat of doing something on offense, albeit a small one.

Chiefs and Rams could both go 0-16. Maybe the Commish will make an emergency schedule change and have them play the last game against eachother to see who is the biggest suck.

Even as bad as the Chiefs are, I tend to think more highly of them than the Rams. At least the Chiefs have a great draft to go on. Lots of talented rookies who will get better. The Rams just look old, worn out and ready to pack it in after 3 games.

As to who's the worst managed franchise, I don't know if it's Oakland or Detroit. How GM Matt Millen keeps his job I'll never know. He has been awful for years !
