Just pointing our that poor management leads to poor decisions which leads to 40 years of no championships
If you look back at ALL Denvers picks they hit a major league grand slam HR while we laid a major league goose egg
At the time I thought Cutler looked like a great pick, but then read some questioning that and had second thoughts. Upgrading the OL was a major need for the Jets, meanwhile, and ironicaly Jaws himself touted Clemens as the most likely to succeed of the top four Qb's who went into that draft. Meanwhile the concern about Ferguson was that he was too small to be an NFL LT, and imo he is still too small. But yeah, Denver proved to be right.
Jets were closer on taking leinart then cutler.. If you want to blame someone for not taking cutler how about blame the cardinals who passed on him for another qb
I do not root for the Cards so I do not care what they did & as we had the 4th overall pick that year so we could have easily snatched up JC
I'm not all that sure you root for the Jets. If they ever actually win you'll have nothing to post about. Its nice to see your hind sight is still in full effect. Its always easy to second guess people when your not involved and make no statements about whom you would take before the event. Good job!
Except without Brick he'd have been getting blindsided all this time like Chad and Fiedler did and probably wouldn't be playing as well if at all. It all starts up front, champ.
Yes if you have the RIGHT personnal up front. Are you telling me you believe that Moore & Brick are anymore then average to below average OLman
I'm sorry, but I find Jaws irritating, and I never really thought anything he had to say was interesting. Big deal, he looks at tape. Anyone of us could have looked at that tape and made the observation that Woody got rammed on first down. Hell, on slow mo we all knew that Ferguson getting his ass knocked down by Richard Seymour was the reason on third down. I was yelling at him while watching the game. Either way, I dont blame Mangini for going 3 times either. You gotta be able to punch the damn ball in from the 1. JUST BLOCK. But as far as ESPN, this monday night football crew is seriously one of the worst crews I have ever heard. It sounds like 3 little kids "pretend announcing" in front of a TV. Awful crew
Well, I found this a good read anyway. So I guess we're not all geniuses who picked all this up in real-time during the game last Sunday like you, so please let us simpletons have a show like this where someone brings it to our attention. Those who already understand everything there is to know about football and can process that in real time don't need to watch it.
I'm saying they needed Brick when they drafted him more than a QB. They had no line, they just had two QBs go down for good early, then Vinny and Bollinger ran for their lives the rest of the season. If they didn't take Brick and Mangold when they did our next QB would have had to be an Olympic sprinter just to survive.
Dude gimme a break with that garbage... they showed on replay three times Seymour coming through the line and knocking ferguson back and stopping thomas come on
