Total BS. It was execution not coaching, period. Our special teams were awful, leaving NE to start on the 45 yard line all through the game. We could not kick a cheap field goal. We made stupid penalties after tupid penaltieS negating first downs. . We could not push the pile on three tries but Miami showed they could run through them. We dropped easy passes. Look at GB, Dallas, Denver, NE. When they get close to the end zone they run the ball in and make it happen. WE NEED TO STOP BLAMING MANGINI AND GET OUR HIGHLY PAID OFFENSE TO EXECUTE. If I blame Mangini for anything is for not lightening the fires under their collective asses.

IMO- The problem was predicated on 2 things.
1-Favre and the playbook. (No excuse on the goal line though)
    2-Manjerky's ego.

Every chess match he tried to play Failed.
    His adjustments if any,Failed

Yes LA. Execution is PART of it but don't dismiss coaching. You have to get them into a position to suceed and the CS didn't do that.

Amazing what a little spice in the offense can do....
But, we'll have to see if Favre can go from knowing 40% of the playbook to 42% this week...

Yes I sincerely hope every NYJ coach & player is now totally ashamed of themselves for losing that game last week vs the Pats

But the Patriots are so good, even without Brady, and even if they aren't that good without him Belichik is a master coach who will make adjustments and beat you after halftime.

Yeah, we just sucked last weekend. Hopefully we can put a better game together tonight.

They did handle Ronnie and Ricky in week 1. Something the Pats did not do.

And Faulk had 3 carries last week..So yes they stopped him.
    You forgot Maroney's 2 YPC.
Jordan's runs were at the end of the game.

And, Welker had 6 catches..But you failed to mention Revis shutting down Moss.

Buffalo barely got by Oakland. The Raiders owned them for 3 quarters.

Yeah but all that matters is the FINAL score & that is in the favor of Bflo & not Oak right. Just wait for Schobel to get his hand on Brick. It should be quite the mismatch

To match his 1 sack in 2 games last year?

The bills are vastly over rated.

Not to take anything away from Revis, but if Revis shut down Moss, then the Dolphins have a shutdown corner as well that nobody knows about.

Moss had 4 receptions, 25 yards, no touchdowns the entire game.

I know this is the Patriots team we have to deal with this year with Cassel at the helm, but this isn't us getting better and hanging in there with the Patriots. I again stand by my comment and say, thank god Brady got hurt. Otherwise we would've gotten blown out that game. Anybody that thinks different is just really kidding themselves. We are nowhere near as good as the Patriots are with a healthy roster. Period.

Will Allen is a very good CB from SU. Most people who follow FB know who he is.

Well Belly has done a Mangini & harnessed the Pats O & if you saw the game RM was not even trying since he had no interest in the Pats new dink & dunk & yes a healty Brady would have engineered at least 35 points

Herm and Chad apoligists getting his shots when he can. Yeah, fire him because the line could not get 2 yards. He sucks, the QB sucks, the team sucks, the seasons over... NOT

Quote: "...Or maybe BB was overlooking Miami. You do not get schooled 6 times on the same exact play in 1 game. ..."

Why is it the coaching staff that gets the kudoes when the team wins, and the quarterback is the one that's to blame when they lose?

This running against the Pats seems to be something that works, then...?

Look, the Miami Dolphins as a team asked to defer their choice til the second half and give the ball first to the Pats so they could beat the shit out of their offense. Which, by the way, they proceeded to do.

I think this was about team attitude, as personified by Joey Porter, that sack happy LB, not coaching staff.

The New York Jets have yet to find their killer instinct with the Pats.

The New York Jets better have their knives sharpened for tonight, because the other team has already pulled out all the stops they could think of and reach.

The Miami Dolphins beat up the Line Of Scrimmage on both sides of the ball.

When in the hell are we going to make that our rule all the time, instead of just an exceptional achievement part of the time?

    Where is the nasty attitude?

Yeah the Bills are real. That's the next team on top of the AFC East for a few years in a row if the Pats are really down and out. Pisses the crap off out of me because they've done it right under our noses while we fiddled and Rome burned.

I knew who he was. I don't consider him to be a shutdown corner, but a decent/solid corner. I was referring to this Board in general. When people were clashing with the Dolphins folk, many didn't seem to know who in their secondary could cover any of our receivers.

I saw that. I saw a couple of clips of Moss also taking off on running plays and not going full speed on his routes when he knew the ball wasn't coming his way. I hope this discontent continues for the rest of the year and carries over into the next, signifying that the GPC is fully underway.

Yes he also did not block D/field. Nah it will only continue if TB injury turns out to be career ending since he knows a healthy TB will not be harnessed by Belly
