Whoever punts for us will have a bunch of so-so punts and one mega-boomer that catches everyone off guard. Brett Favre will have a huge game as we open up the playbook. His top target? Chansi Stuckey Leon Washington will get more than 5 carries David Harris will get more than 10 tackles Vernon Gholston will have his first career sack Darren Sproles will have one run where he breaks about 6 tackles and everyone here will reach for the Maalox Dwight Lowery will get burned at least once Jay Feely won't miss a FG Jets win, 31-26.
----- I think i'm gonna win this... Is there a prize??? Do I win money or something? 1. One team will win, the other will lose. 2. There will be a bad call that pisses off the fans of one team or the other. 3. One team will win or lose on something that makes NO sense if you studied the game statistics BEFORE the game started! 4. A player will make a mistake during the game (fumble, INT, etc.). 5. Neither team will be eliminated from the playoff hunt once the results are in. 6. THe world will move on after the game is over... But certain people STILL won't have a life. That's it! Did I answer the most correct answers to questions that I invented? Do I win the prize?
we will lose, 24-21, chargers will win on last play of the game. we will be 1-2 like most of us predicted, but everyone will still complain
the announcers will talk all game about how the jets lost to the pats the previous week and show several clips of the fish-pats game from sunday.
Yeah, how 'bout the fish giving the Pats a whoopin'. I didn't see the game, but I was amazed at the stomping. That puts Buff in the division lead. I think it also makes our game tonight that much more important. I hope we play our hearts out.
Tony Kornheiser sounds likes a complete tool for the majority of the game and reconfirms suspicions that he knows next to nothing about football.
I called it pre-season...Jets would be 2-2 heading into the BYE. Losses to NE and SD. Chargers 27-17.
Well I called it............... It said: -LT is still banged up and it will lead to more Darren Sproles. their FB is also 5 ft 9.(tolbert, keep an eye on him too hes good with the ball in his hands) if sproles sees extended time i could see the d biting on a play action due to a lack of backfield presnap vision. -Look for the return of our field position as practice squad perry comes in and does what almost anyone can do, better than ben graham. -Antonio Gates sets the Chargers offensive pace -Philip Rivers eats the dirt as Kris "Lunchbox" Jenkins feasts on their backup center allowing a good pass rush. -"Im so glad we drafted dustin keller" get used to that around here (if they let him on the field this week lol) -Jets Win if Favre has a minimum of 34 attempts and the Jets win the turnover battle
Since the radio feed is a few seconds off from the TV, I find myself watching these Monday Nighters with no sound. I wish I could listen to Marv & Boomer during the game, because they are very insightful. The Monday Night TV crew makes my ears bleed.
First 300 yard game by Favre with atleast 2 TDs Jets to play catch-up most of the game. FG wins with time expiring...odds against the Jets (Feely who?) Thomas Jones 100 yard rushing game with two big gains of 20+ Gholston will have one tackle...yeah Jenkins, Pace and Rhodes with a sack each - total 5 sacks Two picks for the D, Revis and Elam (or the second safety) LT 60 yards, one TD and will be a non-factor second half Rivers 250 yards game, 2 picks (highly overrated) Great QB pressure by Jets D Gates 75 yards rec. Shootout game....SD 34-31 Aggressive play calling by the Jets on Offense (not a reaction from last wk) Brad Smith will have 3 catches Big return due by Leon Chambers will be man-handled by Revis (cuz he's over-rated) Coles will show his man-love for Chad and will suck ... out of respect BTW, how about them phins bringing NE down to earth second time in 3 yrs?
