I did not see a thread on this yet, but my 360 recently got the red ring of death thing, so I called up xbox to set up a repair and everything, but the only question I have is how do I send it in? Do they send me a box or do I have to package it myself? I had a PS2 and whenever that broke i sent it in and it was shipped back to me in about a day or two. I heard that 360 repairs take about 3 or 4 weeks to get back, is this true?

Talk to the tex at XBOX, explain your problems w/RROD and they will send a box to your house free w/ postage. That's what I did.

Sure, PS3s don't break yet (see their multiple core failure issue) but then again, what games are you going to play on a ps3? Xbox has the good ones.

DO NOT GET YOUR XBOX REPAIRED!!!

1.Take it outside and kick it to the curb.
    2. Go to an electronics place.
    3. Buy a Playstation 3.

Twombles is in 360 denial I guess.

This is from a former Xbox 360 owner (died on me 5 times) and current PS3 user (Has been great since I got it in May )

...or do what I did... sell your 360 and buy a 360 elite. No problems yet. 2 years strong and going.

    isn't that all 360er's ?

Twombles, nearly all games are now available for PS3.
I'm lucky in that I have all the consoles , excpept for the 360, which I hated.
Tiger Woods on the Wii....MUST HAVE!!!

They send you a box. It does take weeks to get back.

Ha yeah, I still haven't gotten the box yet. But I'm guessing that takes a while too.

    Gears of War
    Gears of War 2
Rock Band 2 (for the time being)
    Halo 3
    Mass Effect
    Among others.

Not to mention the PS Network is a joke compared to XBOX Live. The Wii is a decent system, it's just there's nothing really out for it that screams "Play me!". I had one and sold it off with accessories for $400. Made no sense to keep it around.

    Bioshock
    Fallout 3
    Fable 2
    Too Human
    Halo 3
    Mass Effect

They're pretty much alot of my favorite/future favorite games ever. Those games alone are pretty much worth it for me.
