Looking to upgrade my fantasy team.
Currently i've got Petersen, and Turner, as my RB's, But my recievers are Ward,Harrison,Welker.
I'm looking for an upgrade at reciever, as well as QB. We can use a QB as a flex.
A trade has been proposed to me for Petersen, and a reciever, for Rivers,M.Lynch, and A.Gonzalez.
Should i do this. I was thinking Welker, or Harrison.Rivers is good for the points Petersen puts up.
Currently i've got mcNabb, Hasselback, And Collins, as my QB's

what kind of bizaare scoring do you have that rivers is in the same league as peterson? Peterson is arguably the best fantasy player. Rivers isn't much better than hasselback, gonzales is worse than welker, so in total you can get a hell of a lot more for peterson

Not trying to be a dick but you will probably get a ton of advise in the fantasy forum. Seems to be some really experienced guys that post in there.

For me, I would have a hard time moving Peterson and that seems to be a only a decent deal. I think Lynch is will put up good numbers, but Gonzalez is a down grade to your receiving core if Harrison stays healthy. Who is your current QB?

Peterson should net you an ELITE receiver plus a decent RB for him...no less!

...and stop by the FF fourum for exciting FF talk:beer:

In our league, Petersen and Rivers cancel each other out. The way i look at it, i'm getting a starting RB,Wr, and QB, in return.
The terms of the deal have changed. It is now, HASSELBACK, PETERSEN, for RIVERS,LYNCH,MASON.
I"m looking at it like PETERSEN for RIVERS is a wash, plus i'm getting LYNCH to replace Petersen,as my starting RB, plus an added reciever.

Peterson for Rivers is nowhere near a wash...you'd be better off picking up JT O'Sullivan for nothing and keeping the best player in FF on your roster.

If the points really cancel each other out (that's one crazy scoring scheme) Then I think it looks a lot better.

Last year AP had fantasy points (in default Yahoo!/ESPN scoring), and Rivers had 192.38. However, 7 QBs had MORE points that AP. So, if you think that Rivers will be a top 5 QB (or so), then the points may cancel out. If you are looking at it as Hasselbeck for Lynch and Mason, that's a no brainer.

I would look at it like this:
Hasselbeck to Rivers is a SIGNIFICANT upgrade. Maybe 50-60 points over the course of the season.
AP to Lynch is a downgrade. By about 80 points if you use last year's numbers.
So, will Mason make up the 20-30 points replacing whoever it is that he will replace on your squad?
