no worries murrell, we'll still hang around, altho it will be hard not having him around the team. I was thinking I might go out and try....i got a massive leg on me
I have a friend who can kick mightily good. He's 5'8 but he can run fast and kick the ball pretty far... Perhaps he can try out?
I get the humor behind your post, but anyone who even casually entertains the idea of a 38 year old HOF QB holding for placekicks needs to be placekicked in the face.
i am disappointed he is cut but the writing was on the wall, for some reason he hasnt been booming the punts that we have seen for the first few years and i havent noticed any muffed punts of late too...bad luck mate but thats the nature of this business. i wish you all the best in the future whether that be back home or with another team...or even with the new york magpies
I'm not saying this move will tear the team apart. And I ain't saying the team was built around Graham. I just think Mangini & company think this "sends a message" to the rest of the team. Graham is the scapegoat for a loss the media is pinning on Mangini himself. Will this move fix this team? Or create more special teams confusion? Well, we are about to find out. I do not claim to know the answer. But I do think this makes more than a few people think that the Jets are now "searching for answers." And BTW, Graham was an Australian Rules football player, not "Euro-trash." His signing was initially heralded as one of those "Mangenius" moves. And he was a tough S.O.B., since Aussie Rules players play all game, and kickers are also tacklers.
I'm not fussed that he got cut, as others have said if you are not playing well in Pro sport this can happen. But Euro-Trash!!!!!!!!! where do you get that from you Ass Wipe?, what a moron
after 2 terrible starts it was time for the jets to move on with the punter position, i wonder who there going to sign
Whats going to be cheaper? Benny Graham jerseys or Manchester united jerseys with AIG plastered on them?
